Sickness in Summertime...

Got back from shopping with Mom earlier...just running errands, but it took it's toll on me, so I'm tired.
I've been sick with the SECOND summer cold this year. Ugh. So for the past few days I've been watching anime, sitting around and generally being lazy; trying to rest up. I washed some dishes, loaded the dishwasher a few times, etc, but not much else.
Today school started back here. YAY! And I'm totally serious! I'm loving it! LOL
I painted my toenails Haruhi Suzumiya 2nd opening style while I was still pretty sick. I did these rainbow stripe with a large H and them more rainbow colors, lol. Maybe the glitters will stay put, but I doubt it.
What else should I say other than I'm updating my blog because I need to, and I'm sick?

What to do, what to do!!!

Alas, when the romantic plot turns sketchy and that bratty little girl is causing someone to think they aren't really in love!

Hahahah, sorry. I'm watching Kimi ni Todoke (pronounced keemee nee toe-doe-kay), which is a romance anime that is one of the best! The characters are endearing, the show is easy to watch...yes, it's pretty cliche, but sometimes I think relaxing plot that you can easily interpret is good for the brain!
So far I'm only on episode...eleven? But I hope that by the end of the second season I can give Kimi ni Todoke the same praises I am now!
One thing that life teaches us, and this anime really pushes, is how assumptions ruin things. I'm saying this from a first-person, hard, cold truth perspective-They really do. There's so much that is blackened, blotted, by our assumptions. I know that MY sinful mind just seems to be attracted to interpreting everything to be much more serious and wrong than it is!

My hope is that someday, through Christ, I can stop being so easily swayed to think bad of others or ASSUME that they think a certain way, feel a certain way.   It's horrible, isn't it? Sometimes it just makes me want to go hide; how people can constantly forget to ask exactly what's going on! I know would rather have the truth with a bit of.. 'Um, that was an odd question!' rather than the lies with no confirmation. Sadly, so often my best intentions aren't the intentions that I go with! I forget to keep my sight on Him and...Poof! There it goes! Everything! lol So, so true how much we really need God...everything is a wreck without Him.

Also, I've found that lately I can't think clearly. I keep over-thinking and under-thinking...a big foggy cloud resides in my brain and none of the drivers can see the road, blah. :P But yet I'm super hyper!!! XD I guess that's just my oddity shining through. Right now, I'm hoping to start checking some Math papers...maybe I'll get a few good grades...>.> lol

Another note (or two! Or three!) before I go...I closed my Facebook account! No, it's not anything anyone said! I just want to be able to devote more time to my studies...am I starting to sound too good? Well, I'm really not too happy about closing it, so lol. I'm not an angel. XD Mostly, I just am realizing that my mom and dad are really determined about my education, and my fear of letting them down is greater than my fear of not socializing properly.
Two-I changed blog colors and name. I really can't remember quite well where I got my 'In Sunlight Golden' thing...probably from some memories of spring somewhere. Doesn't it seem like those beautiful moments always happen when the weather is just right? hahaha, I'm digressing again!
Three-I changed my playlist and I made pocky the other day! XD Boy, pocky is HARD. though, I don't think I'm gonna give up on it too soon! It seems like it will get more fun. As to my playlist, my favorite songs so far are Stolen (ask about the story behind it. I'll tell.), What If (because it's so darn HEARTBREAKING! XD), and Kimi ni Todoke...because, of course, it makes me think of the anime. =3

Under Orion May Your Memory Ring True

The night air is chilling
Stars and moon are thought-stilling

A single star shines very bright
Upon whom her thoughts do alight

But she longs only for a friend
Sweet perfume on a darkened wind

Because light only glimmer with hope
When with their descisions you can cope

Leaning in, she needs you now
Before this throne she cannot bow

Only half the cry you hear
And she wished things could be made clear
*
Lonesome longing
For one seemingly lost
Silently begging
That he won't pay any cost

Pointless worry
Time will stand in place
Never say sorry
A blank look on my face

Her heart still flies
But she ties it down
For fear of those lies
That make you frown

Black on white the song
Of thoughtful love yet remorse
Though you can sing along
I'm still trying to see, of course

Oh, leave me, sweet regret!
Go, jealous envy
I will not be caught in that net
And nothing gained, you see

A sparkling treasure
Sitting under the sand
Brighter than the gold
Of all the land

Burning horizon
Dreams, please come true?
The constellation of Orion
Is coming into veiw

Run, run, fast as you can
A destination is on your mind
Do not stop, not for any man
And never look behind

Let her smile guide you
Just for this short moment, tonight
Understand her heart is true
Her sympathy is for your plight
*
She sees the sky, so great a height
Embellished with clouds by the day
And stars of diamond by the night

She sees a jagged fissure
Where the earth has cracked
Broken by the pressure

Look! Fool, there is broken glass
Consider who's at fault
And find some warmth at last

I'll try hard to hold on
It's a few weeks soon coming
And this is almost gone

When moonshadows are dimly cast
And Orion above us
We'll shoot back into the good of the past.

The style of ^this^ poem changes...hum, three times throughout. A muse, I suppose, since it is so very long.

For We Have Become Minstrels (or A Penny, A Quarter)

Do you know what laughing is
Yes, I know and it is this

A great and full; bursting moment
To be in the presence of not one lament

Even his faults are all kissed by the sun
And our spirits toward the sky horizon run

Where is the vast sky, can it be named well?
So this depth is like the blue; trust you cannot sell

The brightness of this day is more than I
And through the clarity of the horizon pearls I spy

Floating on invisible waves, reflecting the sun’s light
You can stare at them for years, till you increase in height

Time and stature, yet we’re still with hope
And with the changes of life we’ll cope

A family of travelers upon the road
Playing our instruments and searching for abode

A penny, a quarter, a flower for miss
And a long, happy strain that they call bliss

Then the deepness of your river is enhanced by two
And the world doesn’t always spin around you

But we never had to tell him, he always knew
That darkness is waiting for me and for you

Hark, oh night of blackness and silence!
We will not be hindered by your evil-hearted vengeance

Our family ties are strong, they bind us together
Nothing can take us, never oh never

Till the light shining on the rocky side
Is reflected by the incoming tide

While you stare up at the pearls as the ships leave the land
And I sit close by and draw pictures on the sand

The birds take flight and he writes a song
And the little girl and boy rather play than sing along

The women and men walk down the shore
And the eldest of us are still looking for more

But we’re the most content than we ever could be
In our cove of goodwill, out by the sea

Wondering if the bonds will ever go away
And hoping to stay for another day

As I said on Facebook-

A cookie to the first person that can tell me what the pearls are in this verse-

The brightness of this day is more than I

And through the clarity of the horizon pearls I spy

And I guess another cookie to who can tell me what this one means-

Then the deepness of your river is enhanced by two

And the world doesn’t always spin around you

ENJOY!!! Sorry I don't post very often-life is hectic and frustrating-not VERY bad stuff, but still hard. And if you understand all of the stuff in these poems, or most of it, then you are either crazy, know a lot about me and my stargazing tendencies, or are a big part of the subject. :) I doubt many understand fully, so don't dare feel bad if you don't...you aren't supposed to! ^.^

I have finished Baccano!, btw, and it's very good! I love the English dub of it-Accents are so cool. Still working on Cowboy Bebop.

Also, expect a total blog makeover soon...Fall is almost here!!!

Bible Conference

I'm off for the Reformed Family Bible Conference on Tuesday. I'm looking foreward to having a good time, and I hope that I can stand up for myself while playing Nerf and show those boys I'm no ordinary girl! :P Anyways, I probably won't be playing Nerf much, due to the fact that it's very hot this week and I have a very blank feeling of absolutely no reason to play. I'd be content to just sit out in a field with my scetchbook and a few subjects to draw. Or hey, take pictures of! XD Sorry. I'm tired. My drawing, 'Regrets' won the Award of Merit! :) That is the drawing above ^^

Anyway, I'm not doing much nowadays. Just being excited! :)

Return to Neverland Fanart

And I present to you my fanart. It could've been better, but I am on an extremely tight schedule with a dash of life problems thrown in and the extremely exciting Reformed Family Bible Conference coming up.

Anyways, this is an anime/manga styled picture communicating the dissagreements between Peter and Jane. I loved how in the movie he wasn't completely sure what to do about it, but wanted to set things right.

In this picture, Peter's expression and Jane's hair are my pride and joy. I either haven't drawn Peter's expression often, or never at all.
I just know it was great practice, much fun, and a good challenge. :)

English Dub of D.Gray-man

I really can't stand most of it; but some is funny.

Compare those with Japanese. XD

I prefer the Japanese, but the English still has funny moments, and when I can get some money (AGGGGHHHH....XD) I will be buying it on DVD with Japanese language option.

Of Ling, Art and Vacations (Sorta)...

Okay, so I'm not going to type out his name super long with a bazillion exclamation points on the end. I won't. I PROMISE.

He's just so awesome.

I've been watching Brotherhood and am overjoyed at the reappearance of Ling Yao. I've been overjoyed for about every episode that he's been in since then. Not Greed, but Ling. Yes, I'm not as happy with Greed. Logically. Greed doesn't act HALF as comical.

Anyway...I'll be leaving tommorrow and staying at my grandparents house. Bad thing-Gotta set up an Ebay account AND a Paypal account for them. Good thing-I get a manga novel AND probably stay upstairs alone in a room to myself, which means a bit of a Naruto Shippuden marathon, lol.

One question remains: What manga will I buy? (I am debating between D.Gray-man and D.N. Angel, with D.N. Angel winning...)

Now for the art. I actually can't post any, but I will post them later. Promise. :)

Asian Extravaganza!!!

So, yesterday I was discussing kimonos with my friends at church. A kimono is a typically Japanese type of clothing. Japanese people don't normally wear them nowadays, but there
are the people who like wearing
them all the time and then there are those who wear them at special occasions. Kimonos originated in China, actually, and the Japanese brought the concept back to their country after one of their many invasions of China. Kimonos are a big part of anime (Japanese cartoons) and some of them are really pretty. I went
searching last night and found some awesome ones.
Here's some pictures-

I don't know where most of these are from :P The one on the right is Haruhi from Ouran Host
Club...but I don't know many others.

Then there is the main characters of Furuba. From left to right-

Yuki (boy), Tohru (girl) Kyo (obviously, a guy) and Kagura (girl). Notice how Kyo, who hates tight clothes, wears his kimono looser, and Yuki, who likes tighter clothes, wears his higher up
against his neck and doesn't roll up his sleeves.
This is one of my favorite pics. :)

Yahiko from Rurouni Kenshin. This is a really nice picture of a guy wearing a kimono. I couldn't find many of those and eventually had to just sear
ch for Rurouni Kenshin pictures.

Then I have one of Sasuke from Naruto. Man, I hate that jerk....:P
He lost all that "I'm the awesome guy with an arrogant attitude." In Part 2. He's just...not cool anymore. Actually, I've seen several screenshots of him from Part 2 and in some of those screenshots, he looks almost sad. You're a fool and you know it, Sasuke!!!

Anyway, I've also recently become interested in Odango or, Dango. They're Japanese dumplings. And guess what? I found a recipe to make them!!! :) DANGO.

Also, I foung a neat Chinese recipe blog. Some of the stuff is really cool and I'd like to try it.

So, yes, I have been thinking about Asian stuff a lot recently. My mom looked up the show 'Sagwa, The Chinese, Siamese Cat' on YouTube for Lillian and we watched a lot of it last night. My old love of the show was rekindled. There is so much Chinese culture in the show, down to the very fact that the cats can do calligraphy.

Anyway, I need to go. Hope you enjoy the many pictures; I'll be posting more later.

Gone...gone far away...

So. My brothers are gone to Alabama/Florida for a week and three days. Or four days. Something like that. I'm actually kinda missing them; it's really quiet around here and kinda boring. Watching American anime without my brothers is...empty. I know they would love Teen Titans. It's not a hit with me, but they'd love it.
So, about American animes-I'm going to attempt to do a rev
iew of Avatar: The Last Airbender, a show I watched several months ago.

Alright, so the plot of this show is pretty good. The show revolves around the character's ability to 'bend' elements; the characters are able to control one of the four elements-earth, water, f
ire, and air. However, a person can only bend one element, the element of the country they were born in. All of these countries lived peacefully together, until the Fire Nation came up with the idea that they should control these nations. They began attacking the different countries using their strong military power, along with their ability to bend fire. Now, there is only one person who can stop the Fire Nation. The Avatar; the only person able to master all four elements. But the Avatar has been missing for one hundred years; and the
Fire Nation has nearly succeeded in it's conquest. This is where our story begins.

There is no swearing in it, I think only a few insulting things are said.

The violence is little; but that depends on what you call violence. As for me; the show is fine on that element.

Now, we come to my biggest problem with Avatar: The romance.
Don't get me wrong, I love romance. It's a great thing in anime. But in Avatar there's too much kissing! AUGH!!! *covers her eyes and shakes her head crazily* See, most anime relationships aren't half as PHYSICAL, YUCK!!!
But your opinion of physical and romantic depends, and it only gets that way when you reach Book Three: Fire.

:P Overall, it really isn't too bad, only some obvious romantic plot and crazily cheesy jokes here and there. :P I'm mostly a Japanese anime person; Americans have no idea how to correctly draw the style without longing with all their hearts to make it look more realistic. But Avatar was done well, it looks pretty good, and my only complaint is they didn't use traditional blush lines. But then, you normally don't in the animation, even when it is Japanese. So I'm just being silly when it comes to that point. Example-

See the pink lines on their cheeks? Those are my beloved blush lines....lol.

Well, (back to the original topic, Argent) if you like anime and haven't seen it, I reccomend you watch Avatar. It's a good start to anime for anyone, to spite it's a relatively Americanized anime.
If you wanna watch traditional anime first, I recommend Hikaru no Go ENGLISH DUB. Not the Japanese, the English.
So hope you enjoyed my overly random excuse for a post, I'm bored and missing my American anime loving brothers. So bare with me. And sorry for the randomness.

One last thing. I am attempting to learn Japanese seriously, and am also going to my first piano lesson this evening. I'm worried that I won't pull through with accomplishing these two dreams, so please pray for me. I think I can do it, but I'm not sure. So pray that I can! :)

Snow Kiss

English-

Close your eyes, night growingYou’ll recall that memory

Biting our freezing lips
We wrapped our arms around each other

I hid the day when I saw you last
At the bottom of my memories

We walked on the lake; that Wonderful view
(I’m feelings so alive)

snow kissDon’t tell me
That I’ll be saying good-bye to you like this

I want to see you
The starry sky is beautiful enough to stop time
wow wow…

The white and shiny breath
Envelopes that child gently

The surface of the water changes into iceThe darkness turns into an aurora

When the darkness dissolves, will I be able to live? baby
I’ll start walking toward the light without showing my tears
(I’m feeling so alive)

snow kissEven if we become separated far apart like this
Please don’t cry…

I want to see you, on that day, at that time, your loveA star of white sighs

snow kissDon’t tell me
That I’ll be saying good-bye to you like this

I want to see you
Unremovable scars such as feelingsPlease don’t erase them

Any way, hey, it's a cool song. That I am obsessed with. It reminds me of Allen, who I am also quite crazy over. He is the middle character in the picture above. The other two are Yu Kanda on the left and Lavi on the right. Who are also AWESOME characters. I have been unable to decide upon my favorite.

Now, I have been doing quite a few drawings lately, but this is the only one I'm going to be able to put up-

This is Gris and Katell, two characters that a friend of mine has. He's been wanting me to draw them and color them, so I did. The look pretty good, imho.

Oh my gosh! It's-it's...

SASUKE/SPIDER-MAN!!! UWAAAHHHH!!!! He's so handsome!!! :P

:P Sorry, I HAD to post this. If you don't watch Naruto, you won't get it.

So, Sasuke is an awesome dude, right? I hate to break it to you, but this is the only thing of him that I think is awesome. He DRIVES ME NUTS!!! Get outta here, Sasuke! He's the only reason I don't watch Naruto much. Sasuke just messed everything up...T.T

Anyway, Sasuke-Man is much cooler, and I hope you enjoy this trailer.

Did I mention I've never seen a Spider-Man movie in my entire life? LOL

Winter Is Here!!!

Today is the 2nd of December and to spite Winter still being weeks away, I've gone ahead and changed my blog colors. The name is still Downy Flake, but I have debated changing it to Snow Kiss. But maybe that's a bit too much! lol, what do ya'll think?

My recent obsessions for this winter: Drawing some of my friends and my own characters, dancing on Christmas Day (which we do every year and I am totally excited about DOKI! DOKI!), seeing snow, using my special Sakura eraser, Hikaru no Go and D.Gray-man!!!

Hikaru no Go-Favorite Character: Yuki Mitani, Fujiwara no Sai, Waya.

D.Gray-man-Favorite Character: Allen Walker and Lenalee.

The song on my blog header and playlist is Snow Kiss, the ending theme of D.Gray-man, which I love! It's so beautiful, and whenever I hear it I think of Allen in that adorable suit...^.^

So anyway, have a great Christmas, ya'll! I have changed a lot of the music on my blog to Christmas music, enjoy!

I'm very bored....

...so I decided to do a video tag I recieved from Nate while I was gone. I won't be tagging anyone, if they want to do the tag, they can! just let me know you're doing it, I'd love to see what you post! ;)

My first video is a Bionicle vid. that I have always liked.
Love you, Matoro... :P

The second is FMA.
O.O

NOTICE: I DO NOT HAVE ANYTHING AGAINST CANADIANS. I'm sure there are good ones and bad ones out there, just like American's. I just like the song, the vid, and like the fact that there is a decent song to the tune of American Idiot, which is very profane and I wish had never been made. But then, we wouldn't have the great tune that Weird Al put Canadian Idiot to...Oh, well.

The fourth is The Girl Who Leapt Through Time. A movie I loved. I would recommend it, if you don't mind about 4 instances of h*** and d***. Other than that, it's an awesome movie with a great plot. The main character reminds me of myself. :)

And, as a little bonus, I have a video I made. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HRJE-fTodHE

Also, I named my fish. The blue one is Mizu, the orange one is Kaji, and the green one is Midori.
Mizu=Water
Kaji=Fire
Midori=Green

I love them a lot. ♥ Cute fish.

Have a happy Thanksgiving, everyone!

I'm Back! (Sort-of)

Konichiwa, everyone!!! Hope you're all doing well! Gomen for being absent so long!
I am now fourteen! A few things about my birthday celebration-The Dorito chips were spicy.
The lemon bars looked like cornbread.
Cylleruion Gwaithovorn has an interesting set of cards.
It's fun to eat breakfast to Weird Al's White and Nerdy.

RANDOMNESS IS COOL, isn't it??? :P

I have been drawing a lot lately. Here are some of the drawings.
  1. Two characters from an RP I am in.
  2. A character from my story. (Which I am no longer posting. T.T Gomen nasai...)
  3. The same RP characters.
  4. A request from a friend. She is drawn from a character in FMA, and she's eviiiiilllll. :P
  5. Another RP drawing. He's a character I haven't yet written but am excited about. I won't be able to start writing him until I get to a certain point in the storyline, but I'm super excited about that and wish I could get there sooner.
Also, I will only be posting once a week (on Friday) from now on. School, drawing, writing, and some new things I am hoping to be taking on in the new year. Pray for me, it's going to take lots of practice and determination to learn to play the piano! I have tried twice and been unable to do it, so I hope I can this time! I'm a lot older, so that might help.

One last thing-I changed my username to Argentia because someone else has the username Autumn and I didn't want any confusion. :)

Enjoy your week everyone!!!

Summer Poems

'Tis moonlight, summer moonlight,
All soft and still and fair;

The solemn hour of midnight
Breathes sweet thoughts everywhere,
But most where trees are sending
Their breezy boughs on high,
Or stooping low are lending
A shelter from the sky.
And there in those wild bowers

A lovely form is laid;

Green grass and dew-steeped flowers
Wave gently round her head.
I forgot who wrote this. I should have written it down.

Blessings on thee, little man,
Barefoot boy, with cheek of tan!
With thy turned-up pantaloons,
And thy merry whistled tunes;
With thy red lip, redder still
Kissed by strawberries on the hill;
With the sunshine on thy face,
Through thy torn brim’s jaunty grace;
From my heart I give thee joy,—
I was once a barefoot boy!

by John Greenleaf Whittier

Look! Look down in the garden how
The firefly lights are flitting now!

A million tiny sparks I know
Flash through the pinks and golden-glow,

And I am very sure that all

Have come to light a fairy ball,
And if I could stay up I'd see

How gay the fairy folks can be!

by Evaleen Stein

Flash and flicker and fly away,
Trailing light as you flutter far,
Are you a lamp for the fairies, say?
Or a flake of fire from a falling star?

by Evaleen Stein

And, yep, lots of EXO-FORCE pictures. It was my first introduction to manga, and I still really like all of the dear pictures I have. I also follow the artist's blog.

Hope you enjoy the poems and pictures! Oh, and the new name of my blog...

I'm soooo busy...

Gosh, I'm running around at 500 mph!!!! Having fun, but running! First thing this week was the orthodontist on Monday. Then today I went to my dad's office. And then to Goodwill. And now I have to load the dishwasher and then to get my hair cut.
...
YES, I AM GETTING IT CUT AGAIN.

Also, I'm leaving for the Bluefield Reformed Family Bible Conference Wednesday evening. Yes, same as Rose. But I'm going a day later. By the way, this is my 1ST TIME!!! *happydance*
So I have a lot to get ready for!

Is there anything I want to say... not really. No specific reason for this post so...I'll probably finish in a minute.
I think I might spend some time filling my sidebar with pictures of Edward. That should be fun...lol, endure it. I just found a ton of pictures of Edward. And they're ADORABLE!!!!!!*attempts to hug Edward but he bolts away as fast as possible* I'll settle for Alphonse. He doesn't scream half as much. :P And he likes cats...

Pretend they're saying goodbye instead of welcome...lol :P

I'll do a post Saturday with pictures, because I'll lose my mind if I forget my camera!

I'm crazy...that I am...

I'm bored...sleepy...and nuts. :P I do weird things at night. Like make a post with a picture of Duo on it...but he's COOL!!!
I like the nighttime. It's dark and quiet and I feel happy. The moon is out sometimes, and the stars shine. I love the country and wish we could live there for one thing-the stars. Our grandparents farm is AMAZING at night. It's just gorgeous. I have spotted so many constellations, my favorite being Scorpius and Orion. My mom was just telling me about how she used to like to look at the stars, too. And don't think I've not leaned out that second-story window a bit too far to see a brilliant display before.

My favorite star watching times are when you see meteorites. They are just breathtaking. Not to mention all the constellations you see whilst searching for meteors.
So I'm rambling about nighttime...at night(LATE at night)...so why not some of my nighttime pictures?
The moon, quite a few months ago...maybe six?

The moon again, really blurry, but very beautiful. The sunset back in...August of last year? Later? Later? I do not know. But it is still very pretty.

I like this next one. It reminds me of so many memories. That light there is one I will never ever forget looking at. It brings back memories of my friend Megan when I was little and played as her tag-along who followed her everywhere and probably drove her crazy on occasion. Thankfully our friendship is much more than that now.

And a planet. I don't know which, but I see it almost every night. This was taken on the same night of the blurry moon.
A close up of a blurry sunset through trees. I loved it. And then the original of that picture.
Well, I hope you liked. I am now going to bed before my mom comes down here and gets me good. I'm super-tired, anyway, this is the first time I've been up this late in a while...I cannot believe it's almost 12. And I have to get up early! Sweet dreams everyone, and pardon my craziness!

Summertime

I enjoy summertime a lot. My perspective on it is probably over-exaggerated. I took a test to see how hot my summer would be...of course the test can't predict the future. I think it really was just predicting what the person's opinion of summer was. My summer was going to be great.

I've changed my blog colors for summer, and I changed my playlist appearance too. I just need to change the songs to my favorite songs that remind me of summer. Alright, so the playlist is at the bottom, and you get tired of scrolling all the way down, yadda, yadda yadda, right? Well, just click on my newest post and it will open so you can see the comments and post on the same page. Then you don't have to scroll so far!!! :)

And I have made up a tag! I know those things have died down a bit, but I never made one myself, so I thought I would.

Your perspective on each month of summer is this-

June-It's green and warmer outside.
You can go outside at 8:30 and play because it's not dark yet.
You start to see fireflies at night.
The woods are nice in the daytime, hiking and climbing trees.
You start to get out more often.
And we even have VBS at one church up the road...we won't be going this year, though.
You get your first dab of sunscreen...and then sunburn.

July-Fireworks!!!
Red, White and Blue!!!
Evenings outside, watching the sun set on my grandparents farm.
Listening to Mother the War in my room at sunset.(Or any other 10,000 Maniacs song!)
Going to my Grandparent's farm and riding in the back of the truck...Which my mom has outlawed. :P Or riding on our bikes.
Picking blackberries and raspberries and blueberries.

August-THE BEACH!!!
Walking on the sand.
Playing in the surf.
Collecting sea shells.
(Actually, I did all of this back in January when I was in Florida...I won't be able to do it this year. VA Beach doesn't have many sea shells anyway.)

And that little part of September we forget is summer-I like to think about snow. I wish it would get cold. I like to play outside, but mostly I'm tired of summer by now. I want fall to get here.

Favorite thing about summer- Playing with my friends, of course!!! I love all of your company so much. And this summer I'm working on loving the company of my brothers and sister.

Most memorable day this summer-Hmmm...I think it was actually back in May...We were up at the soccer field and then at the school playground. I was up there with a few girl friends, my brothers and Cyll. And then we went to the soccer field another day. My dad got to go that time and it was SUPER fun. That time Megan came. If there is any other memorable day actually in June it was Sunday. That was fun.

My favorite food in summertime is-Hmmmmm...BIG HMMMM...I can't answer my own question. My favorite drink is lemonade. My favorite dessert is probably homemade peach ice-cream. My favorite thing to eat? Well, I like*rambles on and on about any food that isn't warm...*

And a few things you want to do this summer-To get my room clean, to write and read more often. Hopefully improve my drawing skills and finish my math for this year. Then start on Algebra 1/2.
Oh, I just want to have as much fun as possible with my friends, and hopefully get to know a few new ones.

So that's it!!! I tag Timeless Trinkets, Miss Rose, Megan, Fantasy, Cylleruion, Nate and Sir Furious.
I'm interested in hearing all of your answers. But if you don't have time for it you don't have to. And you don't have to tag other people either. It's more like a get to know your friends better test. :)
Megan: I know your busy, so if you want we can just talk about summer Sunday. If you really want to type it all out you can in the comments since you don't have a blog. If that's alright.

Now for changing my blog name...Oh dear...

EDIT: I just realized I forgot to put the rules here.
You copy and paste my answers from my blog to your new post. Then you change my answers to yours and post it. And then you attempt to tag three other people. I'm interested in hearing all of your answers. But if you don't have time for it you don't have to. And you don't have to tag other people either. It's more like a get to know your friends better test. :)

An Update

This picture is hilarious. Just LOOK at Trowa...and then Heero...It keeps getting funnier.
I was talking to mom last night and I told her about this picture. I wonder if the reason anime boys are always portrayed as eating this way is they always seem to be hungry! Even Quatre's cramming!!!

I have three younger brothers. I find myself getting frustrated cause their always hungry and are always asking me to fix them something to eat.
And then I realize that is just the way growing boys are!!!

When Mom actually saw this pic, she said Heero(far left) was Shadow, Quatre(right of Heero) was Elliott, and Wufei(far right) was Simon. And that she didn't know who the other two clowns were. :p lol. I just find that really funny.

Now for the important part.

The deadline for entry's in our Chautauqua art contest is two days away. I can't decide if I want to draw something or not, and if I do, what to draw. I really want to enter, but I just can't think of anything to draw for it. My mom said I should draw Sai from Hikaru no Go. :P Imagine that...
In a more serious tone she recommended this-

It's Zhoom, the last surviving Sand Elf from DragonFable. I rarely play DragonFable, but I do try to keep up with the storyline of Artix, Galanoth and Ash.
I copied this drawing. It took me all day to get everything right, and even then it didn't turn out exactly the way it should look. Partly because I am against over-muscleing people. I think the original is bordering my limits. lol, he truly isn't that bad. I thought maybe I should draw him again. The first one doesn't satisfy my perfectionist opinion any more, and it also has scribbles down near the signature.

So that's one idea. I thought about drawing a character of my own. Then I could always copy a character. I think I have too many ideas rushing around.

Another thing...Today is Simon's 6th birthday!!!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY SIMON!!!

Simon is my little artist friend. Here are some of his drawings-Bird and Bird nest. I thought these were done very well for a six year old.

This is Sanosuke Sagara from Rurouni Kenshin. And then the one I am most proud of-

Kenshin Himaura.

He even got Kenshin's cross shaped scar!!!(Even if it was on the wrong cheek.) I thought it was a very cute picture. His attention to detail is what got me. Until I saw this drawing I had not
known he was so good. Now I try to pay attention to the pictures he asks me to look at.

So that's my life lately. I was up at my grandparents house Thursday through Saturday. I'll post
about that sometime soon.
