Of earbuds, books, and sisters...

So...my first pair of earbuds I kept for a year and they didn't have any issues. Then they broke, and I had, like, SIX pairs of earbuds/headphones/other such devices that either stopped working or I lost. Up until last January/February, when I had found a good pair of sound-reduction headphones that lasted a good six months. Then they quit, I thought my mp3 player was broken, ect, ect, Cyll gave me a pair of earbuds, but I lost those right before our trip to the beach. My dad very graciously stopped by his office right as we were leaving and got his headphone thingies and let me use them. I've been using them since the trip, but I realized I needed to give them back to dad, so I brought it up to him yesterday, and he told me he had already bought another pair of earbuds to replace the headphones. We decided to do a trade; his headphones for his earbuds, which wasn't really a trade at all, but very nice of my daddy. ^.^

I do have a question, though, for any of you who read my blog-HOW MANY EARBUDS/HEADPHONES HAVE YOU HAD TO DIE ON YOU, BEEN DESTROYED, OR LOST???????

It's kinda creeping me out how many I've been through....

Now, of books. So, I'm reading one of those books that seem like their going to be a...well, one of those...hard for me to understand books. Not like a dry old History book, but like a...boy's book, to be blunt. It's a boy's book.

So, why am I not sitting there, glued to it, about to die from the suspense?

1. I already get some of the plot. I can see the characters lining up, people! I can see the need that this character will play, what that character will play. Not exactly, of course, I'm only on chapter 2, but....that guy will be needed, that guy...we aren't gonna see him again. That guy? Idk.
2. There aren't enough cliff hangers yet. I'm bored.
3. ...something about the writing style irritates me 

So there. I'll read it after NaNoWriMo.

Faces, stuck in my mind. A look I cannot rid myself of...almost stifling my creativity, yet opening so many doors, covered in old paint and a "DO NOT OPEN" across the front in messy red paint. The doorknob is so cool in my hand...but the drive is beginning to leave me again. Ah, so much, but so little. You are a mystery to me yet, and I don't have the right, whether you be known to me, or unknown, to make a character that causes your face to pop into my mind.

Barbeque?

So I actually had fun at a social event? Wha-?

lol, I didn't have to socialize much. Corey did it for me. :P

Corey and Jenner are two guys that I have spent quite a bit of time with at my grandparent's social events. XD I don't like parties, but when you have some funny people to talk with, they are more fun.

Then, tonight, there were Jacob, Logan, Caleb and Audrey, as well. I made many aquaintances! I liked meeting these new people...especially Jacob! He was a lot of fun, and only a month younger than me...lol.

Of Ling, Art and Vacations (Sorta)...

Okay, so I'm not going to type out his name super long with a bazillion exclamation points on the end. I won't. I PROMISE.

He's just so awesome.

I've been watching Brotherhood and am overjoyed at the reappearance of Ling Yao. I've been overjoyed for about every episode that he's been in since then. Not Greed, but Ling. Yes, I'm not as happy with Greed. Logically. Greed doesn't act HALF as comical.

Anyway...I'll be leaving tommorrow and staying at my grandparents house. Bad thing-Gotta set up an Ebay account AND a Paypal account for them. Good thing-I get a manga novel AND probably stay upstairs alone in a room to myself, which means a bit of a Naruto Shippuden marathon, lol.

One question remains: What manga will I buy? (I am debating between D.Gray-man and D.N. Angel, with D.N. Angel winning...)

Now for the art. I actually can't post any, but I will post them later. Promise. :)

Before They Go

Sit in the kitchen by yourself in the morning; everyone else has stayed up late and is sleeping in. They'll be leaving soon. There is the feeling of waiting. Anticipation. You can tell people won't be where they are right now in only a few hours.

Right now, as I'm listening to the water filter in the fish tank and the cars driving by, I think about family and friends departing on a trip somewhere, be it hours away, or just a short drive. In a silent, calm, steady way I think of this. Nothing more to hear or do or say...just thinking. Peacefully, yet longingly.

But anyway, nothing much has been going on lately...just me being like...me. :P Doing stupid stuff and being strange... :)

I'm soooo busy...

Gosh, I'm running around at 500 mph!!!! Having fun, but running! First thing this week was the orthodontist on Monday. Then today I went to my dad's office. And then to Goodwill. And now I have to load the dishwasher and then to get my hair cut.
...
YES, I AM GETTING IT CUT AGAIN.

Also, I'm leaving for the Bluefield Reformed Family Bible Conference Wednesday evening. Yes, same as Rose. But I'm going a day later. By the way, this is my 1ST TIME!!! *happydance*
So I have a lot to get ready for!

Is there anything I want to say... not really. No specific reason for this post so...I'll probably finish in a minute.
I think I might spend some time filling my sidebar with pictures of Edward. That should be fun...lol, endure it. I just found a ton of pictures of Edward.And they're ADORABLE!!!!!!*attempts to hug Edward but he bolts away as fast as possible* I'll settle for Alphonse. He doesn't scream half as much. :P And he likes cats...


Pretend they're saying goodbye instead of welcome...lol :P

I'll do a post Saturday with pictures, because I'll lose my mind if I forget my camera!
