The t-shirt has frustrated me slightly. It makes him look muscular and broad (maybe it's the angle), when it's really just the baggy t-shirt filling with the wind. The model probably only weighs 120 pounds at a height of maybe 5'6"?

New Sketch+Playing with my Webcam

Yes, I finally embarked upon that New Year's Resolution of a drawing once a week. Or a sketch. Or just anything that includes me putting something beautiful and unique in my sketchbook.
 Now, though this was just a sketch...it's beautiful and unique to me. And, pardon for not having the hair poking out the back of his cap shaded in yet. I'm not exactly the type for remembering that before taking pictures...
 Anyway, yes. I titled this 'Searching for You', because it seems almost as if he's looking for someone. I still need to add in some stuff, shade a few things...maybe tomorrow.

 And, then, I wanted to play with my webcam in my mom's hat. And my pajamas. :P

 Tomorrow, I'll hopefully get a few pictures of the hats&gloves I got today. They.are.awesome. I got two hats, two gloves...and a journal, which I actually will post here right now.

Isn't it just BEAUTIFUL? I love it so much. ^.^ Plus, it has a bit of a favorite verse-'all things work together for the good-' on the front, and then it cuts off. And then this is written on the front as well-'what we suffer now is nothing compared to the glory He will give us later', which just reminded me of something special.
Inside this verse is written-'May God our Father and Jesus Christ our Lord show you His kindness and mercy and give you great peace of heart and mind.' 1 Timothy 1:2

Rainy Evenings In France

She stared out the window into the rainy twilight. A storm had just passed, cooling the warm summer air to a comfortable temperature. Down in the garden below her window fireflies were flying up from the ground, blinking silently among the leaves of the dark apple tree. Amidst all the red roses was a single orange one, washed by the rain and swaying lazily in the breeze. Ailith could still hear the thunder in the distance and she thought that maybe another storm was coming through the area.
 Laughter broke the silence; which wasn't really silence due to the mewing of a cat, squealing of a few pigs across the street and the ballad of a minstrel in the bar below her room. But the laughing caught Ailith's attention, and she turned to see a girl with chocolate brown, curly hair walking arm-in-arm with a boy who appeared to be cracking jokes with her. He pointed toward the garden and her face suddenly grew serious as he walked over and picked one of the small purple violets growing in the stone wall. He presented the violet to her, shaking a stray strand of blond hair out of his face as he did so. It was a simple motion, but obviously pleased the girl even more than the violet, because she laughed as she wiped her hands on her dark red dress and took the flower. Fitting it in her hair, she took his arm once more. They continued down the street, and Ailith heard her exclaiming-"Caelan! That's not funny!" but laughing all the same.
 It began to drizzle a few minutes later, and Ailith found herself hoping it wouldn't ruin the evening stroll of the two laughing teens. She even found herself wishing that she could be doing the same somewhere; laughing and strolling along with her friends. The image of those she had lost crept into her mind, but the lightning flashed and thunder clapped loudly at that moment, the downpour that followed clearing her mind to the nothingness that it was beforehand. Ailith turned away and headed back downstairs; Kyle would be wondering where she was.


Ramble there. ^.^; Gotta love my writing, though. An idea I came up with a while back. Just filled it out a bit and Voila!
Anyways, it has been raining a lot in my area. It feels like fall! ^.^ I wrote that about summer, though, but it's still rain! XD I've got my grandparent's keyboard and am enjoying practicing on it. It's fun...but I like the touch of a piano better. >.<
 I've been sort-of brainstorming on an idea for a picture, but it currently hasn't come to anything except more questions about details. I also feel like writing in the RP, because this was the kind of weather last year that I thought the most about the RP, and around the same time, too. I'm really ready for fall. :)

Bible Conference

I'm off for the Reformed Family Bible Conference on Tuesday. I'm looking foreward to having a good time, and I hope that I can stand up for myself while playing Nerf and show those boys I'm no ordinary girl! :P Anyways, I probably won't be playing Nerf much, due to the fact that it's very hot this week and I have a very blank feeling of absolutely no reason to play. I'd be content to just sit out in a field with my scetchbook and a few subjects to draw. Or hey, take pictures of! XD Sorry. I'm tired.My drawing, 'Regrets' won the Award of Merit! :) That is the drawing above ^^

Anyway, I'm not doing much nowadays. Just being excited! :)

Return to Neverland Fanart

And I present to you my fanart. It could've been better, but I am on an extremely tight schedule with a dash of life problems thrown in and the extremely exciting Reformed Family Bible Conference coming up.

Anyways, this is an anime/manga styled picture communicating the dissagreements between Peter and Jane. I loved how in the movie he wasn't completely sure what to do about it, but wanted to set things right.

In this picture, Peter's expression and Jane's hair are my pride and joy. I either haven't drawn Peter's expression often, or never at all.

I just know it was great practice, much fun, and a good challenge. :)

Return to Neverland vs. Peter Pan

So I decided, that even with my crowded schedule, I would participate. ^.^ I am a crazy person.

I must admit it now, I guess. Although I have been seeing many Peter Pan posts concerning the live-action movies throughout the ages, my heart has always been with the Disney version.

I am a true lover of animation, I supppose. XD

When I was very little, we had an older version of Peter Pan, but I'm not sure which one it

was...our VHS player ate the tape. I do remember that

Peter was played by a girl, and there was a lot of singing and flying on black wires. :P I did miss the tape after it broke, but forgot about Peter Pan for a long time after that.

Then, when I was about 8, I somehow watched the second Disney movie, Return to Neverland, at a friends house. It continues to be my favorite version of Peter Pan to this day. Yes, the original story was great, but Wendy always irritated me. Way to girly, probably because I'm a tomboy. That's why Jane appealed to me.

Plus, the second movie gives a different perspective on the story, one of a child grown up before her time. It is easier to relate to Jane, in my opinion, because nowadays so many people don't take any time out of their day just to be imaginative and look at things in a 'magical' perspective. Jane has to learn to be more fun, and the second movie really stresses the 'Faith, trust, and Pixie dust!" saying that is almost lost in the first Disney adaption, being said only once, I do believe.

I found some really cool pictures, too...I'm a sucker for cool pictures. Art is a big thing with me, and I HOPE can get good sketch or two, based on the second Disney film, up by Saturday.

Of Ling, Art and Vacations (Sorta)...

Okay, so I'm not going to type out his name super long with a bazillion exclamation points on the end. I won't. I PROMISE.

He's just so awesome.

I've been watching Brotherhood and am overjoyed at the reappearance of Ling Yao. I've been overjoyed for about every episode that he's been in since then. Not Greed, but Ling. Yes, I'm not as happy with Greed. Logically. Greed doesn't act HALF as comical.

Anyway...I'll be leaving tommorrow and staying at my grandparents house. Bad thing-Gotta set up an Ebay account AND a Paypal account for them. Good thing-I get a manga novel AND probably stay upstairs alone in a room to myself, which means a bit of a Naruto Shippuden marathon, lol.

One question remains: What manga will I buy? (I am debating between D.Gray-man and D.N. Angel, with D.N. Angel winning...)

Sweet Summer

Will it come soon? I'm counting down the days till June 21st...counting down the days until Summer is officially here. But you know what? I pretty much call Spring an 'Early Summer'.

Btw, sorry guys, I'm a sun shining, sweating like crazy, Gatorade-chugging, Popsicle licking, playing soccer, swimming, watermelon eating Summer FREAK. I love it. I even spent two hours making a calender to count down to June 21st. It's all colorful and stuff.

So I do believe my blog colors are getting changed. And the name has got to change too. I wish I could name it 'Barefoot Boy' after a poem I read, but I'm not a boy. :P Maybe I should call it Whisper of The Heart, after the movie.

But anyway...my art is having trouble. It's annoying. :P

There is only one problem. I don't want Allen-kun to go AWAAAAYYYY!

Valentine's Day?

Well, I'm too young to be wanting a significant other quite yet, so I don't really want chocolate or something from a boy on Valentine's.

I wanna stuff snow down the back of his shirt. Yeah, that's what I'm interested in.

Let's hope it's sunny Sunday, so we can really have a good snowball fight. :P

Anyway, I have been drawing like a mad-woman for the past two months, but have forgotten to post any of the pics.

I gotta change that someday...actually, it's my Valentine ambition to draw Ailith so much that I will be able to have a group pic done by March. Then I MUST do this pic for the awesomely patient Nate. He's been waiting for several months now. Argh.

Then there's another of Katell that I really must do for Sir_F....I told him I couldn't a few weeks ago, but now I'm feeling bad about turning down that awesomely patient person, as well.

Any way, hey, it's a cool song. That I am obsessed with. It reminds me of Allen, who I am also quite crazy over. He is the middle character in the picture above. The other two are Yu Kanda on the left and Lavi on the right. Who are also AWESOME characters. I have been unable to decide upon my favorite.

Now, I have been doing quite a few drawings lately, but this is the only one I'm going to be able to put up-

I'm Back! (Sort-of)

Konichiwa, everyone!!! Hope you're all doing well! Gomen for being absent so long!

I am now fourteen! A few things about my birthday celebration-The Dorito chips were spicy.

The lemon bars looked like cornbread.

Cylleruion Gwaithovorn has an interesting set of cards.

It's fun to eat breakfast to Weird Al's White and Nerdy.

RANDOMNESS IS COOL, isn't it??? :P

I have been drawing a lot lately. Here are some of the drawings.

1. Two characters from an RP I am in.
2. A character from my story. (Which I am no longer posting. T.T Gomen nasai...)
3. The same RP characters.
4. A request from a friend. She is drawn from a character in FMA, and she's eviiiiilllll. :P
5. Another RP drawing. He's a character I haven't yet written but am excited about. I won't be able to start writing him until I get to a certain point in the storyline, but I'm super excited about that and wish I could get there sooner.

Also, I will only be posting once a week (on Friday) from now on. School, drawing, writing, and some new things I am hoping to be taking on in the new year. Pray for me, it's going to take lots of practice and determination to learn to play the piano! I have tried twice and been unable to do it, so I hope I can this time! I'm a lot older, so that might help.

One last thing-I changed my username to Argentia because someone else has the username Autumn and I didn't want any confusion. :)

Summertime

I enjoy summertime a lot. My perspective on it is probably over-exaggerated. I took a test to see how hot my summer would be...of course the test can't predict the future. I think it really was just predicting what the person's opinion of summer was. My summer was going to be great.

I've changed my blog colors for summer, and I changed my playlist appearance too. I just need to change the songs to my favorite songs that remind me of summer. Alright, so the playlist is at the bottom, and you get tired of scrolling all the way down, yadda, yadda yadda, right? Well, just click on my newest post and it will open so you can see the comments and post on the same page. Then you don't have to scroll so far!!! :)

And I have made up a tag! I know those things have died down a bit, but I never made one myself, so I thought I would.

Your perspective on each month of summer is this-

June-It's green and warmer outside.
You can go outside at 8:30 and play because it's not dark yet.
You start to see fireflies at night.
The woods are nice in the daytime, hiking and climbing trees.
You start to get out more often.
And we even have VBS at one church up the road...we won't be going this year, though.
You get your first dab of sunscreen...and then sunburn.

(Actually, I did all of this back in January when I was in Florida...I won't be able to do it this year. VA Beach doesn't have many sea shells anyway.)

And that little part of September we forget is summer-I like to think about snow. I wish it would get cold. I like to play outside, but mostly I'm tired of summer by now. I want fall to get here.

Favorite thing about summer- Playing with my friends, of course!!! I love all of your company so much. And this summer I'm working on loving the company of my brothers and sister.

Most memorable day this summer-Hmmm...I think it was actually back in May...We were up at the soccer field and then at the school playground. I was up there with a few girl friends, my brothers and Cyll. And then we went to the soccer field another day. My dad got to go that time and it was SUPER fun. That time Megan came. If there is any other memorable day actually in June it was Sunday. That was fun.

My favorite food in summertime is-Hmmmmm...BIG HMMMM...I can't answer my own question. My favorite drink is lemonade. My favorite dessert is probably homemade peach ice-cream. My favorite thing to eat? Well, I like*rambles on and on about any food that isn't warm...*

And a few things you want to do this summer-To get my room clean, to write and read more often. Hopefully improve my drawing skills and finish my math for this year. Then start on Algebra 1/2.
Oh, I just want to have as much fun as possible with my friends, and hopefully get to know a few new ones.

An Update

This picture is hilarious. Just LOOK at Trowa...and then Heero...It keeps getting funnier.
I was talking to mom last night and I told her about this picture. I wonder if the reason anime boys are always portrayed as eating this way is they always seem to be hungry! Even Quatre's cramming!!!

I have three younger brothers. I find myself getting frustrated cause their always hungry and are always asking me to fix them something to eat.
And then I realize that is just the way growing boys are!!!

When Mom actually saw this pic, she said Heero(far left) was Shadow, Quatre(right of Heero) was Elliott, and Wufei(far right) was Simon. And that she didn't know who the other two clowns were. :p lol. I just find that really funny.

Now for the important part.

The deadline for entry's in our Chautauqua art contest is two days away. I can't decide if I want to draw something or not, and if I do, what to draw. I really want to enter, but I just can't think of anything to draw for it. My mom said I should draw Sai from Hikaru no Go. :P Imagine that...
In a more serious tone she recommended this-

It's Zhoom, the last surviving Sand Elf from DragonFable. I rarely play DragonFable, but I do try to keep up with the storyline of Artix, Galanoth and Ash.
I copied this drawing. It took me all day to get everything right, and even then it didn't turn out exactly the way it should look. Partly because I am against over-muscleing people. I think the original is bordering my limits. lol, he truly isn't that bad. I thought maybe I should draw him again. The first one doesn't satisfy my perfectionist opinion any more, and it also has scribbles down near the signature.

So that's one idea. I thought about drawing a character of my own. Then I could always copy a character. I think I have too many ideas rushing around.

Another thing...Today is Simon's 6th birthday!!!

He even got Kenshin's cross shaped scar!!!(Even if it was on the wrong cheek.) I thought it was a very cute picture. His attention to detail is what got me. Until I saw this drawing I had not
known he was so good. Now I try to pay attention to the pictures he asks me to look at.

Sidewalk and Cake Art!

Well, if ya'll read my mom's blog, Timeless Trinkets, you know that yesterday, May 13, was my little sister Lillian's 3rd birthday.
Lillybee loves Strawberry Shortcake and wanted a Strawberry Birthday. Well, my mom thought it would be a great idea to make a cake with Strawberry Shortcake on the front. At my Strawberry birthday about 4 years ago, we just printed off a picture and put it on the cake, peeling it off after I blew out the candles.
But earlier this year, I was searching for pictures of Edward Elric and found this on Deviantart-

She (I believe it is a girl) did this cake of Edward out of chocolate!!!

This was a really cool idea, but my mom didn't want to use chocolate for a three year old's birthday. So we used icing. First we iced the cake white. Then we followed the directions for transferring the image. The icing was too sticky to set the image on, so we put the cake in the freezer. We had to put in in the freezer at intervals as we iced it. My mom did the black outline, I colored the inside. It took all day, but it was tons of fun.


We used homemade drizzle icing for the colored parts. It worked out really well.

The day before I was outside on the carport watching Lillian play, and I decided I'd do a picture with chalk. Not just a doodle, but a real picture. I hadn't drawn Edward in a while, so I decided upon him. Keep in mind Edward is the second hardest FMA character for me to draw.
(Guess who is the hardest???O.O )
The only part that is easy is the fact I don't have to think too hard about his body proportioning. He's short like me!!!! *hides hoping Edward won't find her and kill her ears with ranting*

His face got a bit distorted because I wasn't looking at anything. His head and hair turned out odd, too. But I till luv him.♥ :P
The only thing I had to come inside and look at was his mouth. I couldn't remember how to do that smile. Also, I had to take out a wet washcloth to erase with. I'm sorry, but I can't live without my eraser!!!I'm getting so good with his eyes!!! *happydance*

And the mouth looks good. It all looks good, for chalk.

Also, I have a few more drawings. Just let me take pictures...*goes and gets mom's camera. Then searches frantically for drawings. Takes a zillion pictures and screams at the camera for saying each and every one was bad quality.*

And this is a picture of two children. Guess who? Remember my post back on December 8th when I mentioned Haley Rose and Elliott? Well that's who this is modeled after. I saw them walking up my Granparents driveway and got inspired to do this. They're made to resemble Edward and Winry ever so slightly. But Elliott and Haley really did look like that.
