Bleeding...

Why he would bleed his heart out as he wore it, tattered, on his sleeve as part of a daily basis, was also beyond me.

(Taken from a fanfiction, but the fanfiction was lousy and actually turned out rather...objectionable, so I don't want to link it. Don't worry, I'm not going around reading weird fanfictions on purpose. The title was interesting, popped out at me when I was making a search. I thought it might be good until I read the end. *sadness* I hate it when a beautiful story gets a really bad ending...)

Yesterday, Today, Tomorrow

(With English Subtitles)

Keeping it quiet, I breath in, I breath out
This was surely a very short story
I have too many fears and things to lose
I never lived this way before

I wanted to hide myself away, and never show my face
If I could escape this feeling, I would
I don't want anything to disappear, but most importantly
Please hear this, my words written out

In my loudest voice, I silently shout at the sky
The moon above me, I see it glowing softly
This view is everywhere, that's how I think about it
So it offers a little pain with its consolations

Everything around me here is an ironic picture
Not one moment is left empty
Memories, thoughts, feelings, all are tied together
And I can't fly away anymore

What shall I say so it sounds less confusing?
That no one will leave me alone?
That I'm angry because everything was disturbed?
That I'm bursting with happiness at this evening...

Each sensation is still very clear to me
Sunlight and shadow patterns on the sidewalk
The heat and the buzzing sound of A/C
Burned into my memory, never to leave

Tasting sweet and sour, salty and bland
Taking in deep breaths of the night
I want to share everything I kept, but it's beginning to fade
Could this suffice for now?

Please, I promise, I will be more dilligent
I'll capture everything inside
So when the next person leaves that quickly
I'll stop them in their tracks

I hold friendships and possibilites and hopes for the future
In the palm of my hand, but like tissue paper
They may blow away in the wind if I don't hold tight enough
I'm wrapping my fingers around them, so don't bring a hurricane.

Welcome Summertime!

I'm so excited! Even though all of my friends have taken off for the Reformed Family Bible Conference 2012 , I'm not really all that lonely. I do feel a bit frustrated that no one will read my posts, but, hey, that would be like asking for a miracle anyway! :P

As mentioned to many, this year I entered and won first place with the poem The Butterfly Prince at the Chautauqua Festival.  The Chautauqua festival holds many fond memories for me, especially early memories of my parents. I remember one night in particular when I was probably only five. Mom painted my nails purple and we all (meaning just four of us, at the time!) went down to watch a performance together. I remember several years later when I was probably 10-11, we went to the Bazaar. I got a pretty fairy crown and a horse puppet, both of which I still have...but Daddy and I had to run back to the car in the rain!
This year, Chautauqua has already built itself a lot of memories. ^^ I'm hoping I'll have several more by the end of this week.
Keep up with my mom and I as we catalog the event via YouTube here.

Along with Chautauqua, my other major activity right now is learning Korean. It's an amazing language, but it gets more difficult every day to remember what I learn. I understand a lot more of what I hear than what I can actually reply, simply due to the fact that I can't conjugate verbs yet and I barely grasp the basics of their grammar. Even though I've fallen a bit behind in learning, I want to get back at it again and start working harder. I've got absolute bucket-loads of resources; Talk To Me In Korean, Byki, a Korean-English Dictionary and a Korean Verb book (though I simply do not grasp the concepts in that book yet; too much grammar).

I hope to have LOTS of vocabulary under my belt by the end of the year. ^^

Aaaaand, on a random note (I suppose), here is a violin cover by Jun Sung Ahn of the song We Are Young. I wanted to include it earlier but I never managed to. >.> He's too talented for me to not post at least ONE of his covers. Go check out his other covers when you have time! ^^

Tomofumi Tanizawa-Kimi Ni Todoke

*sadness* Today is the last day of spring! Well, I didn't get ALL the songs in that I wanted to, but it turned into a very busy month. ^^ Anyway, these Japanese songs make up some of my fondest memories of spring and summer.

Opening of the first season of the CUTEST anime ever. Seriously. This is one anime I would recommend to anyone of all ages. If it weren't for the fact that it's not dubbed, of course. There's little to no language, no violence (unless you count people falling over, running into walls or the occasional 'school boys fighting out back', throwing punches and etc, and no sexual content. If I remember properly. Which I think I do. Pardon me if I'm wrong. ^^

Likewise, here is season 2's opening by the same artist. ^^

10cm-I'm Afraid of the Dark/Hug Me

Cute song by 10cm, a Korean indie duo. The lyrics are in this video-

The main reason I wanted to include them in this list is I found them recently and (most, not all) of their songs are good.

Here is a TERRIBLY cute one-

Isn't that adorable? lol

No Man...

He takes long strides, quick steps through the bright city
But he cannot escape his pursuers
In one sweeping motion, they come upon him as a cloud
They overtake him in a moment

His dark eyes scan the horizon; tired
Steeped in apathy, he stares blankly
Like he doesn't even care to fight it

He seeks to simply exist and be done

He's disgusted with being treated like an object
To be possessed by one lucky person
His opinions can't be expressed, his thoughts are blocked
By the surging crowd and the screaming voices

Yes, they close in quickly, clinging to his clothing
Seeking to reach in and rip out his heart
And destroy all just for the purpose of simply knowing
Following his every move like cats after their prey

Yes, he chose this for himself
He's made himself known to the world
But he has every right as a human being
To disclose what he wishes, and hide what he must

This man was so foreign to me then, but now
As I watch him carefully
He seems kind and reasonable, beautiful, yet
Trapped in fear and anxiety

Questions run through my mind
Why make this choice?
Why live this life?
But he will never give me an answer

How does this man, or any man
Live like this?
Fending off the attackers with whatever means
To preserve what little dignity is left?

It hurts me to watch this happen
Even though I am normally so composed
I feel anger and frustration and sadness
At the unjust behavior and the pain...

May I write this poem about you?
I think about you late at night
Can my voice be heard by those parasites
Killers who dig deep to destroy a person...
Even though this still continues
You'll be alright, won't you?

-Argentia

SHINee-Sherlock (Clue+Note)

Alright, prepare yourselves! Here comes the K-pop. Watch at your own risk and PLEASE, excuse the strange clothing and be aware that they are not gay. Their culture is a lot different from ours and the fashions they like in music videos are a bit far-fetched. Their men are (sometimes) a bit shorter and skinnier than ours; that doesn't mean they are mixed up about their sexual orientation. And, by all means; the one that looks like a hippie is not a girl. Just...needs that mop in a cute top-knot. ^^ I prefer the silent samurai look...

Buwahahaha...

Anyway, lyrics.

From now, all stop, whomever it is
No one can leave this scene, don't be nervous in this important situation
I'm already more free in the secret room

I won't miss even a single trembling breath of yours
The jewel of the heart that I've secretly been aiming for
I'm already aware of your anxious eyes
I've found you on the dragon's board, freeze!

You, with an innocent face
You shake my heart and look for a chance
Two answers (two answers)
Explode like a firework in a long night, baby

*Oh I'm curious yeah
You smile from the picture at the moment, why
Oh I'm so curious yeah
I'm so curious yeah

For over a hundred times, I think about you and forget about you
The question that fills up in my head, what is it that you want

This moment that flows into my heart without a sound
It swirls

**Oh I'm curious yeah
You walk out from the picture at the moment, why
Oh I'm so curious, yeah
I'm so curious yeah

You don't exist in front of me right now
I know that for sure but I'm going to interrogate you
Your lips know the answer that I want
It shines and disappears

You might have already known my heart
It wasn't locked firmly to you from the beginning

The suspect is in here
No one can leave
You and I, or anyone
Everything about you
I have found evidence
I will certainly find you

Ummm...so, not as creative as Nell or Sweetpea, but still a catchy song with good singers. XD Actually, the lyrics don't make sense because this is a remix of two songs together. Lyrically, they don't really go together, but, oh well, guess that's how the company wanted it.

The Paper Kites-Bloom/Featherstone

My sister and I were out playing in the rain the other evening, about two weeks ago. It had been a really interesting day-a lot of things happened that helped me to see how far I had come in life since last year. It was exciting and yet saddening at the same time. Well, while we were running around, dancing in circles and splashing in puddles, this song (Bloom) was going through my head. I'm not sure why, but it was gorgeous. This indie/folk group from Australia has some of the best harmony and the sweetest lyrics. I'll always think of my sister and that wonderful evening because of this song. Needless to say, it also reminded me of the book Peach Heaven by Yangsook Choi. One of my favorites, since before I liked Korea so much. ^^

And this song was one which just made me feel so peaceful after hearing it. The line 'And we'll hate what we've lost but we'll love what we find' really hits home for me. Isn't it amazing how life is like that? Though you lose people, feelings, and time, and you hate it, you also find that by the end of all of that, you'll love what you find. Because eventually you'll live past all of that and find something even better. Especially at the end of life; when God's children go to heaven-we'll definitely love what we have then! But I think how it just hit me was that I can and I should try to do lots of things, even if I'm afraid of getting hurt, because after the hurt, He'll heal me. You can't live being afraid!

Bloom

In the morning when I wake
And the sun is coming through,
Oh, you fill my lungs with sweetness,
And you fill my head with you.

Shall I write it in a letter?
Shall I try to get it down?
Oh, you fill my head with pieces
Of a song I can't get out.

(Chorus)
Can I be close to you?
Ooh-oo-oo-ooh, ooh (simile).
Can I be close to you?
Ooh, ooh.

Can I take it to a morning
Where the fields are painted gold
And the trees are filled with memories
Of the feelings never told?

When the evening pulls the sun down,
And the day is almost through,
Oh, the whole world it is sleeping,
But my world is you.

Chorus x2

Can I be close to you?
Ooh, ooh.

Featherstone

Wake up to the sound of your fleeting heart
Wake up to the sound of your fleeting heart
When you go, what you leave is a work of art
On my chest, on my heart

She went out to the hay in the morning grace
She went out and got lost in a tall hedge maze
Where'd you go? Where'd you go? Why'd you leave this place?
On my heart, on my face

And my love is yours but your love's not mine
So I'll go but we know I'll see you down the line
And we'll hate what we've lost but we'll love what we find
And I'm feeling fine, we've made it to the coastline

Past all the signs of the slow decline
Live like your love wasn't meant for mine
Now you've gone, now you've gone to a different life
Til the loneliest side

Wake up to the sound of your fleeting heart
Wake up to the sound of your fleeting heart
When you go, what you leave is a work of art
On my chest, on my heart

And my love is yours but your love's not mine
So I'll go, but we know I'll see you down the line
And we'll hate what we've lost but we'll love what we find
And oh, I'm feeling fine, we've made it to the coastline

Nell-Tokyo/기생충/1:03/12 Seconds/The Day Before/Slip Away

Nell is a Korean indie/rock band that I recently discovered. The lyrics to the songs are beautiful; though sometimes repetitive, they convey a lot of meaning.
The music is also rather breathtaking. The composing of these songs is not a simple task and how someone can come up with songs like that is a mystery to me. So the fact that the artists actually write lyrics and compose is definitely a bonus for them.
I particularly like Jong Wan's vocals; he has an amazing range and a beautiful falsetto.

These videos are from their 'Stay' concert in 2008, before they left for military service. They're back  now, but haven't done a big concert like this since. If you're in search of more videos from this concert, just open the video in another tab. Links to the other songs are in the vid description. ^^

Beautiful song called 'Tokyo'. Nell has a lot of heartbreak songs. ^^ This one is entirely in English an rather repetitive.

기생충 is a more rock-ish song from Nell. I like the music, but I don't understand the lyrics at all. They make no sense. >.>

1:03 has an epic performance AND it's a pretty song. ^^ Love the digital clock flashing behind. ^^

12 Seconds was at the end of this concert. I was and still am SO impressed by Jong Wan's falsetto, even after all the singing he'd been doing! After 2-3 hours he would be tired, but his voice was still so strong. Amazing. XD

Aaaaand, from their most recent album, here is the song Slip Away and The Day Before.

The Day Before does have a music video, but it addresses a rather heartbreaking and touchy topic-suicide. So I didn't want to post it here.

Now, lyrics-

Tokyo

the love we make
the tears we cry
sometimes they’re just not real

the heart we break
the wounds we make
sometimes they just don’t heal

i think im losing weight again
i think im losing taste again
i think i broke my heart again
will you stay with me x2

i think i lost my love again
maybe i sold my heart again
i think im left with none but pain (?)
will you stay with me x2

the things we say
the things we hear
sometimes they’re just not real

the things we touch
the things we feel
sometimes there just not real

i think im losing weight again
i think im losing taste again
i think i broke my heart again
will you stay with me x2

i think i lost my love again
maybe i sold my heart again
i think im left with none but pain (?)
will you stay with me x2
will you stay

i think im losing weight again
i think im losing taste again
i think i broke my heart again
will you stay with me x2

i think i lost my love again
maybe i sold my heart again
i think im left with none but pain (?)
will you stay with me x2
will you stay x4

the love we make
the tears we cry
sometimes they’re just not real
sometimes they’re just not real

기생충 (Parasite)

English (doesn't make any sense, was Google-translated)
I'm above your head can hear your prayers

Wait for me to look very sukyeonhan

I get pain when you when you cry tears of blood

You could be happy and wait for me until

I'm in your pain and your suffering in the parasitic

Bleed for me a beautiful beetle.

I'm in your pain and your suffering in the parasitic

Beautiful beetle.

Your hypocrisy in your lies are parasitic

Beautiful beetle.

1:03

English-

regretting like this because I can't return
I can't forget so I carry it through my whole life
forgive my weak courage
and my worthless sorrow
a second like a minute, and a day like a year
it feels so long
memories of you that I thought I could forget
become clearer with time, now it feels like I can grasp them with my hands
I suppose it's impossible to become faint, the dark dark longing
I can't forget it so I carry it through my whole life
forgive my weak courage
and my immature everything
a second like a minute, and a day like a year
it feels so long
memories of you that I thought I could forget
become clearer with time, now it feels like I can grasp them with my hands
it feels like I can grasp them with my hands
resignation in front of regret, regret in front of tears
kneel like this
memories of you that I thought I could forget
become clearer with time, now it feels like I can grasp them with my hands

 12 Seconds

노을지는 마음
sunset of my heart
마음..
heart..
파도치는 마음
waves of my heart
마음..
heart..

Don't break my heart x5

흘러가는 구름
flowing clouds
구름..
clouds..
잊혀지는 이름
a forgotten name
이름..
name..

Why did you have to go
Why did you have to go
Why did you have to go

You broke my heart (Why did you have to go)
x8

You broke my heart- you broke my heart x5

You broke my heart.

Slip Away

Until the last moment you’ve consoled me
But it’s as if you don’t know.
What is it that makes me miserable
I swell up at the days that are to be forgotten
More so than for the days when I will be left alone
It pains me that I can’t give you
More so than I can’t have you

“I never meant to hurt you
I never meant to make you cry
I only wanted to tell you”
You turned away, but even then you worried about me
But it’s as if you don’t know
what is it that makes things so hard on me
It’s not the
Loneliness that is left alone,
The tear stained heart,
Entwined moment,
The one and only truth,
It’s the sorrowfulness that everything that will be forgotten
I swell up at my image even erasing the memories
The image that I would get so familiar with
“I never meant to hurt you
Only wanted to tell you”
“That I am still in love with you”

The Day Before-

At first, it was really hard
I couldn't acknowledge it so it was torturous
But after I accepted it
Now it's just so sad

Actually, it's like this - what use is it to hold onto something that is scattering?
Only the heart will hurt more
But I wonder, what is the purpose of living like this?

At first, I hated you a lot
I cried a lot too
But after being like that for a while, I wondered what in the world I was doing

Actually, it's like this - what use is it to hold onto something that is scattering?
Only the heart will hurt more
But again I wonder, what is the purpose of living like this?

I wonder if we're sometimes standing in the same memory
I wonder if sometimes, time has stopped for you too

How about this break up? Is it withstandable?
Was the pain a bit less since you were ready?

How about love? Is it doable again?
Actually, I'm like this - I'm just afraid

This is all that I can say

Thinking hard about it alone, the words that let you go
It won't ever reach you - the words that let you go

The Dykeenies-Clean Up Your Eyes

This. Movie. Is. Awesome. Save for a few instances of swear words like 'what the h-', etc, it's a GREAT movie that I recommend everyone to see. Unless, of course, you are easily upset by open endings that could possibly be heartbreaking but depend upon how you interpret it. ^^
Love this song ever since I saw it to the video. Can you tell I like sad lyrics to warm music? lol

In case you're curious about this not-so-well known group http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Dykeenies

Clean up your eyes, and I'll dance alone with you in daylight
Your skin reminds me of sleeping on clouds in my mind
Clean up your eyes this time
Clean up your eyes this time

You breathe in when I breathe out
It's not likely I'd ever feel this far
From someone, from anyone at all
If you leave now you leave with a piece of me, and a piece of us
It's not likely I'd ever feel at all

All things aside, I'm not sure if I can help you this time
You show your eyes, and I see your face for the first time
But let's not hide this time
Let's not hide this time

You breathe in when I breathe out
It's not likely I'd ever feel this far
From someone, from anyone at all
If you leave now you leave with a piece of me, and a piece of us
It's not likely I'd ever feel at all

What you don't have
What you don't need
What you can't reach
What you can't see

You breathe in when I breathe out
It's not likely I'd ever feel this far
From someone, from anyone at all
If you leave now you leave with a piece of me, and a piece of us
It's not likely I'd ever feel it anymore

Do do do do do do, do do do do do
Do do do do do do, do do do do do
Do do do do do do, do do do do do
Do do do do do do, do do do do do
Do do do do do do, do do do do do
Do do do do do do, do do do do do
Do do do do do do, do do do do do
Do do do do do do, do do do do do

Clean up your eyes this time
Clean up your eyes this time...

Dashboard Confessional-Stolen

Because I love anime, I picked this video. I know they aren't really a legit couple anymore (last time I checked, of course, which was forever ago-still, it would be an extremely random outcome if they actually WERE legit now...lol) but I just...like the vid. >.< Ummm, anyway, if this eventually gets removed from YouTube due to some copy write (which I don't see happening considering I've been watching this video since I was fourteen...), you can just go look it up somewhere else! lol

Ahem. This song holds so much meaning for me; not just in the fact that it's a beautiful piece, but in the fact that I have practically grown up, spend springs and summers for two years, with this song.
I remember too much happiness, heartbreak, and precious moments when I listen to this song.

Particularly, that one night that I spend staring up at the sky, wishing on stars, feeling like I could fly far across the world to see new places and meet new people.

The lyrics are...okay I guess. I don't see anything wrong with them. ^^

We watch the season pull up its own stakes
And catch the last weekend of the last week
Before the gold and the glimmer have been replaced,
Another sun soaked season fades away

You have stolen my heart
You have stolen my heart

Invitation only, grand farewells
Crash the best one, of the best ones
Clear liquor and cloudy-eyed, too early to say goodnight...

You have stolen my heart
You have stolen my heart

And from the ballroom floor we are in celebration
One good stretch before our hibernation
Our dreams assured and we all, will sleep well
Sleep well
Sleep well
Sleep well
Sleep well

You have stolen my....
You have stolen my....
You have stolen my....
You have stolen my heart....

I watch you spin around in your highest heels
You are the best one, of the best ones
We all look like we feel

You have stolen my
You have stolen my
You have stolen my
You have stolen my heart........

Owl City-To the Sky

(I missed yesterday, sorry^^;;) Cute, dreamy song. Very hopeful and I like singing along or writing or drawing to Owl City. Not to mention, the movie was amazing, no? I still need to read the books though! XD (lazy, lazy, lazy...)

Shipwreck in a sea of faces
There's a dreamy world up there
Dear friends in higher places
Carry me away from here

Travel light, let the sun eclipse you
'Cause your flight is about to leave
And there's more to this brave adventure
Than you'd ever believe

Birdseye view, awake the stars 'cause they're all around you
Wide eyes will always brighten the blue
Chase your dreams, and remember me, sweet bravery
'Cause after all those wings will take you up so high

So bid the forest floor goodbye
As you race the wind and take to the sky
You take to the sky

On the heels of war and wonder
There's a stormy world up there
You can't whisper above the thunder
But you can fly anywhere

Purple burst of paper birds this
Picture paints a thousand words
So take a breath of myth and mystery
And don't look back

Birdseye view, awake the stars 'cause they're all around you
Wide eyes will always brighten the blue
Chase your dreams, and remember me, sweet bravery
'Cause after all those wings will take you up so high

So bid the forest floor goodbye
As you race the wind and take to the sky
(Take to the sky)

There's a realm above the trees
Where the lost are finally found
Touch your feathers to the breeze
And leave the ground

Birdseye view, awake the stars 'cause they're all around you
Wide eyes will always brighten the blue
Chase your dreams, and remember me, sweet bravery
'Cause after all those wings will take you up so high

So bid the forest floor goodbye
As you race the wind and take to the sky
You take to the sky
(You take to the sky)

You take to the sky

sweetpea-강릉에서 (At Gangreung)

Soothing, sweet song. I was told that it was 'comfortable music' by a friend, lol. I like it a lot. Even before I knew the lyrics, it had some sort of quiet, reminiscent tone. Then I read the lyrics and realized that the music communicated the meaning perfectly.

Do you remember that time we were together (at) the beach

Yeah, that memory is still fluttering me this year

You do remember that (time) we had with the sea

Yeah, those memories are still fluttering me this year

Owes to you (the) first time, I'm not saying

Yeah, but I remember our first time.

(No, I didn't translate this, hahaha...I understand just a liiiiiiiitle bit. ^^ Like, uri is our, and sigan is 'time'. I think yege is remember, but, who knows, hahaha. I can, on the other hand, read it all to you (weird to not know what I'm reading, though, hahahah).

Jonsi-Sticks and Stones

Cute movie, cute song. ^^ I'm also so intrigued by the fact that two of the verses are in Icelandic. Since I was little I've always been intrigued by Scandinavia (surprise! I bet you thought this girl was only concerned about East Asia! :P)

Anyway, here's the lyrics-

Eyes open wide, blinded by the sun now
Orange and white, dark red, green and yellow
Rainbow colors! Do not hide, see the view!
Step aside, go through!

Against the light, too strong, blow a fuse now
Everything bright, new songs, burning shoes
The look in your eyes! Break our bones into half!
Scream and shout and do laugh!

Let yourself... go (Oh Oh Oh)
Let yourself... go (Oh Oh Oh)

Stay close to me
Count one, two and three
Up in through your sleeve
Busting through the seam
Open your eyes and see - You'll see

Inn um ermar, upp hryggjarsúluna
Yfir skóg, flæðir niður brekkuna
Allt upp í loft! Ég mun aldrei gleyma!
Því ég mun aldrei!

(Into the sleeve, up the spine column
Over the forest, flowing down the slope
Up in the air! I will never forget!
Because I will not!)

Hleypur um, rífur, leysir flækjurnar
(Upp með rótum) Með blik í augum!
Stórmerki, undur, brjótum bein í sundur!

(Run about, scratches, loosens up tangles
(up by its roots) With a twinkle in the eye!
Wonders, miracles, breaking bones in pieces!)

Let yourself... go (Oh Oh Oh)
Let yourself... go (Oh Oh Oh)

Stay close to me
Count one, two and three
Up in through your sleeve
Busting through the seam
Open your eyes and see

Stay close to me
Count one, two and three
Up in through your sleeve
Right beyond the trees
Show you how you'll be

Stay close to me
Count one, two and three
Up in through your sleeve
Busting through the seam
Open your eyes and see - You'll see

Stay close to me : Count one, two, three
Up in your sleeve : You're right behind me
Stay close to me : Count one, two, three
Up in your sleeve : Burst through the seam

Open your eyes and see
You'll see (You'll see...)

Down By the Water-The Drums

The Drums are a retro/80's style contemporary group. This song is sooooo touchingly beautiful to me; it really speaks even though it is simple in it's composition and lyrics. The deep, soft, caring notes seem to fill in what the lyrics do not.

if you fall asleep down by the water
baby i'll carry you, all the way home

if you fall asleep down by the water

baby i'll carry you, all the way home

everybody's gotta love some one

but i just wanna love you dear
everybody's gotta feel something
but i just want to be with you, my dear

i know it's hard

i know it's hard
i know it's hard to be in this forever
if they stop loving you
i won't stop loving you
if they stop needing you
i'll still need you, my dear

if you fall asleep down by the water

baby i'll carry you, all the way home

if you fall asleep down by the water

baby i'll carry you, all the way home

you've gotta believe me

when i say
when i say the word, forever

and whatever

comes your way
oh we'll still be together

i know it's hard

i know it's hard
but i understand you, just take my hand

if you fall asleep down by the water

baby i'll carry you, all the way home

if you fall asleep down by the water

baby i'll carry you, all the way home

The Cure-Pictures of You

The second song that was going to be on my playlist this year. ^^ Pictures of You by The Cure. I like The Cure probably because I was practically raised on them. :P My dad and mom are both fans of the song 'Just Like Heaven' and a few others. Mind you, the lead singer/song writer/crazy hair guy can be a bit off color, so I wouldn't recommend all of his music, but this song is really beautiful, sad, and I appreciate the work and self-expression.

The Playlist problem-SOLVED. ^^

Hello everyone!!! 안녕하세요, 여러분!

If any of you realized today, Playlist has stopped us from being able to listen to playlists on our blogs. It really made me frustrated until I realized that I could incorporate this problem into a plan I already had. My plan was to highlight songs from my playlist until the end of spring, which is June 19, and I realized that I could still do this even without my playlist (I'd rather not leave my playlist up for people to access my Playlist.com page. I feel uncomfortable about that). Plus, in this way I can highlight a few songs I couldn't get on playlist.com. ^^

So, without further ado, here is the first song on my playlist this year-

Cry by Godley and Creme from Miami Vice.
