It's over!!!!

Christmas Day and all of the Christmas festivities are over, everyone. But I'm not disappointed, because a new year is coming, and there are a lot of wonderful things happening on my schedule in 2009!!!
So, I promised a Christmas post. Sorry, but I don't have any pictures yet.

Christmas Eve we open our presents, because we go to our grandparent's house and to our church on Christmas Day.
Well, I received a set of Faber-Castell felt tip inking pens. Along with those came a pencil, eraser, sharpener and stencil. Then I also received some Prismacolor pencils.
Then we went to church Christmas morning. We sang Christmas hymns and some of the men in the church read scripture.
Then we all exchanged gifts, which was the most hectic thing I think I've ever seen. But fun! :)
After that, we ate. There were all these goodies!!! Hehe, there were these 'aromatic ornaments' that me and some friends had made about a week ago. They looked like cookies, but actually had something like 3/4 a cup of SALT in them.
Well, Fox convinced Shadow to take a taste of one. It was funny, mostly just because Shadow believed us. :P
Then we danced. It is a tradition of ours to dance the Virginia Reel on Christmas Day.
Sasha and Fantasy know a lot about dancing, so they showed us many dances. First we danced the Virginia Reel. Then we did a very random Gay Gordon, and then we just danced several different things. I learned a lot about waltzing. But I tell you, I just CAN'T figure out that Salty Dog Rag. It's so confusing, I always end up getting myself tied in knots!!!
Then we headed down to our grandparents. (We call them Mumsie and Pa, I'm not quite sure why.)
First, though, we had to go pick up our Grandma, then we headed to Mumsie and Pa's.
Mumsie had cooked a HUGE dinner, and I ended up with a stomach ache, as usual when she cooks her big dinners.
We opened presents after that.
I received a gingerbread scented candle, a thing to store my drawings in, a sweater with the twelve days of Christmas stitched on it, and a black purse that matches my dress shoes. It is a cute little purse, yet it has a teenager look to it. I like it a lot.
The best part was watching the sun set. There are some big hills behind my Mumsie and Pa's house, and when the sun sets behind them, it is beautiful, any time of year. I was also listening to my little MP3 player, which made the sunset even more beautiful.

Well, Happy New Year, and I hope you had a lovely Christmas like me!!!

Merry Christmas

Hi everyone!
I just wanted to post and say that I WILL NOT have a Christmas Day post for maybe a couple days. I'm hoping to do one in the morning, but... I ate WAY to much Christmas Dinner...Oh, I do hope I feel better!!!! :)
But I am very happy, no, EXTREMELY happy. This was the perfect Christmas.

Merry Christmas to you all!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!♥

Christmas...

Well, everyone, Christmas will be here soon. I have been doing lots of stuff; making decorations, Christmas presents, and so on. But we must remember, among the hustle and bustle, that when we celebrate Christmas, we are celebrating the simple birth of Jesus Christ. I found this year that I was very overwhelmed by Christmas and wishing for it to be more simple.
I hope you did not become so confused as I did. :)
Ah, well, on to a drawing update.
Mostly, I have actually been working on drawing Full Metal Alchemist characters, but I don't think my fanart is good enough to post here. (YET) :) :P
Lets see, I drew Pohatu Phantoka last night, but that was very hard, and I don't have any pictures of it yet.
I don't believe I will be putting up the pictures of Brutaka and Axxon, they are more if sketches then actual art.
I drew a few other little random things here and there, and then I am working on a special idea for my bro's Christmas present.
Oh, and guess what?
...
...
...
MY BROTHER FOUND MY CAMERA THINGY THAT I NEED TO MAKE MY CAMERA WORK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
*is VERY excited*
Now I can take it to church on Christmas Day! And take pictures! And videos! >:)
Just kidding, I won't terrify you all with my camera unless you give me permission to. I'm just glad I have it because it takes much better pictures than my mom's.

Well, that's all. How about another picture I found while zooming around on the internet?
Haha!!!! See that, FOX!!!!!!!!!!
It's a PINK NERF MAVERICK!!

Art

Well, I have been sick. Runny nose, headache, slightly sore throat. Perhaps some of you have the same thing? lol.
OK, so I've actually had time to take pictures of my artwork!! 8D

Kopaka Phantoka
-*Is shouting for joy* I drew Kopaka!!
OK, so the picture is NOT the best quality. Give me slack because I'm sick and blame my mom's terrible camera in the process. I took these pictures THREE times, and each time the camera would not pick them up. It was like they weren't even on the SD card. *looks suspiciously at SD card*
Oh well, I drew this picture after getting Kopaka Phantoka at the WAL*MART. I was nuts over the toy and that funny rock/vine decoration on the outside of the package. Well, on the back of the box, up in the right corner there is an example of him behind the rock/vine thingy. I was inspired. My favorite thing is his position, especially the way his arms are rapped around the vines/rocks. No, I did not draw those rocks/vines from memory. I was looking at the box.

Lewa and Onua Nuva-This is part one in a series of pictures I'm doing. It is Lewa and Onua Nuva. Also, I have been experimenting with the muscle coloring in these. See how Lewa's neck muscles and collar bone are colored and Onua's are inked? Also, that little sign on Onua's arm is a continuation of the concept for Gali Mistika's powers and such. That is the evidence of his elemental powers over dirt(earth).
Tahu and Gali Nuva-This is number two in the beach series. It is Tahu and Gali Nuva. I think the sunset in the background is very beautiful. Btw, Hahli, I used the pencils that you gave me for my birthday on this pic.!
And a closeup of the sunset.

Lewa- Good Grief, I cannot get over this picture. Yes, I know Bionicles don't celebrate Christmas, but I HAD to do this. If you can't read my handwriting, Lewa is shouting-"Taka, Gali-Sister, it's Christmas!"with his fist thrust out in front of him, ready to conquer those gifts and stockings.
Now, after he falls down the steps, Lewa will shove pancakes into his mouth and then shred the wrapping paper on his presents into a million pieces. =P
I drew this yesterday, and the only problem I see is that the leg that is bent is attached wrong. His hip should be a little more to the left.
This also gave me the idea to draw a picture of Taka eating pancakes. Taka is a fan-made way of shortening Takanuva.
I'm hoping to do a post tomorrow with some links to some other artist's drawings of Human Bionicles. They are both much better(and older) than me. I hope you will like them.

One last thing, and then I will let you go: I HAVE done three drawings of Axxon and Brutaka, but I'm not sure if I should post them. They are kinda, er, well they aren't bad, they're just different. Rose has seen one of them. I guess they aren't horrible, but I'll think about posting them. :)

Tagged!!

Tagged, REALLY? Oh, NO!!!!!!!!!
I've been tagged by Fox and asked to list 15 things I'm not afraid to admit.
This is gonna get crazy. :P
Sorry it took so long.
#1. I hate Math.
#2. My room is almost always messy and disorganized.
#3. I write stories about Bionicles and my own little characters.
#4. I draw Bionicles in Human Form and I draw Anime/Manga.
#5. I prefer girl-ish things, yet play with boys all the time.
#6. Reading a good book has caused me to actually skip meals, I can become that distracted by the book.
#7. I am a night time person, and love the darkness and stars. It is so beautiful, I even like the way the night time smells.
#8. I am NOT a morning person, and can sleep SUPER late, if I stay up too late at night.
#9. My middle name is French, and I like the French language.
#10. I love languages, including (but never limited to): Portuguese, German, Spanish, French, Japanese, and many others.
#11. I love computers, and I am trying not to get on this one QUITE so much.
#12. LOL, I should go to bed before 12:00 a.m.(give mom the credit for that one.)
#13. I am not a tom-boy, but love NERF and a good game of tag, getting wet, muddy, grass stained and playing in the snow.
#14. I currently have 4 music playing devises in my room, two are mine(CD player, MP3player) and two are not( Mom's CD/Cassette player, and mom's cassette player) Yes, I still love cassettes.
#15. I want to travel to other countries one-day, be an artist, possibly get married, and if so, have children. But the main thing right now is traveling to other countries and becoming an artist. ;)

Well, that's all. I just am trusting that none of that is absolutely terrible things for me to admit, since I have almost a zillion others. I'm not afraid to admit quite a few things.
I won't be tagging anyone other than my mom, Timeless Trinkets, because I don't have time right now. Man, finding those six people is difficult.
Also, I'm leaving for my Grandparents Christmas party about....RIGHT NOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
80 *starts freaking out because she can't find her shoes and can't spell 'freaking out'*

Actually, *starts rushing around room and trying to find her shoes*the party starts at seven or so, but my little brother Elliott is going to his friend Haley Rose's birthday, and that starts at 2, and it takes an hour to get there, and she's a good friend to him, and he hasn't even rapped her present yet, and -HELP! I CAN'T FIND MY SHOES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!8O 8O
Extremely whacked out,
O.O-Autumn

First Ride

Today I was at Rose's house and got to ride Belle! She is a dear horse. I also got to ride Red, bareback. Such fun!!
That also happened to be my first ever ride on a horse! And even though I usually have problems with being super nervous, I wasn't that much! So I actually got to enjoy it!

Also, yesterday I got to watch Narnia: Prince Caspian. I'm going to do a bit of a review on it, so if you haven't seen it and don't want to be spoiled, don't read any further.

OK. Out of the two movies(The Lion The Witch And The Wardrobe and Prince Caspian) I was more interested and pleased with the first. It just drew me in, as the second one did not as much.
Although, there are some parts that I LOVED.

First of all, the beginning where Caspian falls off of his horse was VERY interesting, I felt the urge to run into the movie and untangle the reigns and help him.
Second, the scene with Peter in a fight is very nicely done, I actually liked the generic-ness of that part.
Third, the part where they infiltrate Miraz' castle and Susan asks-"Who exactly are you doing this for, Peter?" I thought that was put very well, and jabbed Peter very emotionally.
Fourth, anything that Reepucheep(don't kill me if I spelled that wrong, but please let me know)
said was awesome. As Lucy so bluntly yet effectively put it "Oh my gosh, he is so cute!" Not to mention funny.
Fourth, the part after the first battle at Miraz' castle where Caspian and Peter are yelling at eachother I undoubtedly loved. I have a strange attatchment to rivalrys like that.
Fifth, The part where Caspian and Peter are both tempted to give thier blood to the White Witch is one of my favorites, as I felt like I was in the movie in that part, as well as in the other parts.
When Edmund cracks that ice I was very relieved.
Sixth, after the second big battle, when Susan, Edmund, Peter and Caspian are kneeled down in front of Aslan, when Aslan says "Arise, kings and queen of Narnia" and all of them rise up except
Caspian and Aslan says "All of you" a great feeling of hapiness for Caspian welled up in me.

Probably, of all the characters I like Lucy best. I also liked that 'Chivilrous (yet cute) tiny knight of Narnia, the DLF and others. Of the humans-
1. Lucy
2. Edmund
3. Peter and Caspian(*to self* You just HAD to put them on the same number, didn't you)
4. Susan( I wasn't as impressed with her in this one.)

Well, back to sipping Blueberry tea and watching Full Metal Alchemist!

Merry Christmas!!

Merry Christmas, everybody!!!

I changed my blog colors, ONCE AGAIN, but you boys and haters of pink should be glad, 'cause it isn't pink this time.

After the month ends, Butterfly will be taken down(but Caremelldansen and Beethoven are still being left, due to the demands of a certain sibling) and then I will be putting up some Christmas music.

-Autumn

Oh, yeah, er, um, I'll be getting along with that tag, um, sometime, OK, Fox? It just might, er.....take a while. =P No, I'm really almost finished, I'll have it up tomorrow, hopefully.

Thankgiving

It'll be Thanksgiving tomorrow, so I decided to post a recipe that I think is AWESOME. If you like cheesecake, of course.:P

Pumpkin Cheesecake
PREP TIME: 20 MIN.
START TO FINISH:9HRS. 15MIN.
Crust
1 1/4 cups graham crackers crumbs (about 24 squares)
2 teaspoons granulated sugar
1/2 cup butter or margarine, melted (We use butter)
CHEESECAKE
1/4 cup all-purpose flour
2 teaspoons pumpkin pie spice
2 tablespoons brandy, if desired.( We don't add that one, too much trouble)
1 can (15 oz.) pumpkin(NOT PUMPKIN PIE MIX)
4 packages (8 oz. each) cream cheese, softened
1 cup packed brown sugar
2/3 cup granulated sugar
5 eggs

1. Heat oven to 325○F .In a small bowl, mix cracker crumbs, 2 tablespoons granulated sugar and melted butter. In greased 9 inch springform pan, press crumb mixture over bottom. Wrap foil around outside of pan to prevent drips. Bake crust 8 to 10 minutes or until set. Cool 5 minutes or until completely cooled.
2. In a small bowl mix flour, pumpkin pie spice, brandy(optional) and pumpkin; set aside. In a large bowl, beat cream cheese with electric mixer on medium speed until smooth and creamy. Gradually beat in brown sugar and 2/3 cup granulated sugar until smooth. Beat in eggs, one at a time, on low speed just until blended. Gradually beat in pumpkin mixture until smooth. Pour over crust.
3. Bake 1 hr. and 15-25 min. or until set but center of cheesecake still jiggles slightly when moved. Turn oven off; open oven door at least 4 inches. Let cheesecake remain in oven 30 min. Run knife around edge of pan to loosen cheesecake. Cool in pan on wire rack 30 min. Refrigerate 6 hrs or overnight.
4. Run knife around edge of pan to loosen cheesecake. Carefully remove side of pan before cutting cheesecake. Store cheesecake covered in refrigerator, 16 servings.

Happy Thanksgiving!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!♥

Birthday!

Hello everyone!! First of all, today at 1-something in the morning I turned thirteen, and became a teenager!!! And, no, I did NOT stay up until then. For some strange reason I wanted to be asleep at that moment. After looking at pictures in my baby photo album, I finally drifted off at sometime around 12. My last few thoughts were about cooking and how crazily our cabinets at church are set up. They open really oddly.
Well, here are some pictures of the Birthday celebration Sat.My little sister, Lillian, sat on my lap while I opened presents. This was a note from my brother, Elliott, which said 'I L♥ YOO'
He is such a sweetie.
Here I am giving him a hug. This is my favorite photo of all.
And this is the CAKE!!!!!! It's Nokama Metru, in a doll dress shaped cake! The cake pan that the
cake was baked in belonged to my mother when she was a little girl. Rothor has testified that it is VERY WRONG to put girl Bionicles in pink dresses. :P I think she looks fine, especially with the little rosette on her head. Oh, and the best thing about the cake was that my friends and me and my mom worked on it all together!!! It had all these different patches of patterns on it. Truly unique.
We also got bombarded by my brothers and Rothor. Terrible. They threw red plastic cups at us. With water in them. I have the honor of saying I started it. :P

And then this morning I woke up and to make a long story short, opened my present from my parents, as it is the custom of our house that the child opens their birthday present on their birthday.
I received my first and only MP3 player, which I actually ordered myself, thinking that I would receive it for Christmas. My mother let me find it because she didn't know much about them. I didn't either, but with some research I knew enough. Well, my mom was utterly shocked to see it just appear in the mail the other day, to spite I had said, 'Well, I ordered it.' about a zillion times.
I guess she decided that I should have a surprise for a Christmas present, because I pulled off the tissue paper and the tiniest little thing was sitting at the bottom, enclosed in all this plastic. From what I understand(not a techno genius here) it is a SanDisk sansa m250. But the main thing is that I can now carry my music with me. LITERALLY. I was absolutely obsessed with how CUTE AND TINY the thing is. Here is a picture.
It is actually only about 2 or 3 in. long, and only one inch wide and thick.

BUTTERFLY

Voting closes at seven, please tell me what you think is the best version of the song, it will be here till the end of November, and I want it to be the best!! So far I only have two people who've answered, so please do!!!!!!!! Just tell me in a comment, or e-mail me if you know my address. One of the girls just told me in person. Thanks!

Oh, and by my brother's request, I will be leaving Caramell and Beethoven at the end of the list for a while. Him and my dad love those ones to much to let them go!! ;)
-Autumn

EDIT: Butterfly by Smile.dk and DDR won, but I just decided on the DDR version. No complaints here, but aren't you guys just a bit too GENERIC????? :P
Any way, here are the votes-
Butterfly-3 votes.
Hyper K remix-1
and my brother couldn't decide, so I think next time I do this, you can have multiple votes. Oh, well, enough of my rambling.

Art

4 MORE DAYS UNTIL NOVEMBER 17TH, MY THIRTEENTH BIRTHDAY!!!!!!!!!
I finally took those pictures of my drawings.

Lewa Nuva-Toa of Air, carrying a stack of very odd-looking dishes. Just as a warning, he IS ABOUT TO DROP THOSE DISHES.
I used mainly Crayola pencils to color it, and an un-known brand of ink-pen. As you can see, I have a faded jeans obsession. Oh, and Lewa looking so Chibi-like is because I have always imagined him as kinda bouncy, cute, and ditsy. But that is just me.
Oh, and 'chibi' means small in Japanese, I think.

Tahu Nuva-As you can see, I didn't do very well on this drawing. First of all I never went over it after coloring it with white pencil. The reason I go over it is because it blends all the colors together. On Lewa, I did, but on Tahu I didn't. Second problem is Tahu is NOT my favorite Toa of all the Toa Nuva. Kopaka and Lewa are. Sadly, all my attempts to draw Kopaka have ended in failure.
The one highlight is the hand. It is a very nice hand. Ironically, it's holding a water bottle. And sadly, I forgot to take a close-up picture of it. I know, stop talking your ear off and MOVE ON.

Pohatu Nuva-This one is done after a picture of a real person. It is also my first effort at putting highlights of blond in somebody's hair. Sorry for the blurriness of the picture.

Gali Mistika-This one was a tone of fun. I focused mainly on making her look very un-feminine, and then added the annoyingly feminine pink tank top. For those that don't know, this is just Gali Nuva in a new form. So, for the drawing-I really enjoyed drawing the blood and sweat, and the muscle definition is my best yet. She's very rough-looking, correctly, like she is reading to win, and she WILL. The little wave on her arm is a marking signifying that she has power over water.
O.k., so I just wanted to say-
THANK YOU!!!!!!!!!
All those suggestions were wonderful, and the birthday wishes were great too. I think, though, I will get my inspiration from Longfellow. He has beautiful poetry, and as he calls the moon the 'Empress of the Night', I have no doubt I will at least find a name.
Oh, dear, so many things have been happening. Rothor has a new blog, my mom has a blog (please check it out and leave a comment- Timeless Trinkets. Don't feel shy because she's my mom, she doesn't mind a comment from you guys at all!) , my birthday coming, and my brothers making all those army noises.......Oh, wait, brothers do that all the time. LOL. ;)
I am...
HAPPY.

-Autumn

P.S. I have a BIG surprise to show you all. I received it in the mail yesterday, and will tell you about it as soon as I can, which might be a few days.

Rambling

MY BIRTHDAY IS TEN DAYS AWAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!8D 8D 8D
Well, I finished another drawing a while back, it's Tahu. But my camera has quit working, so I don't have any pictures yet. I also finished Lewa and Pohatu, but I haven't done the background on Pohatu. Oh, and I did a version of Axxon and Brutaka, but it isn't very good, terrible inking, and I've only colored Axxon's jeans and T-shirt. *Loves jeans*
My brother also received the latest Bionicle comic book, but I am extremely unimpressed. Not to mention that Gali looks very un-feminine this year. I won't give away any further things. Gali's not new, you see, everybody knows about her, so it's O.K. for me to say that she looks terrible(Because I'm not giving away any future storyline). I have a permanent grudge against her.

BAD BIONICLE DESIGN TEAM, BAD.

Did I mention I'm also mad at the Bionicle story team?

WELL I AM. >:

Yeah, I know, I'm supposed to not be posting a really jittery and happy yet annoying post after such a presidential catastrophe. But, I wanted to vent my feelings about the comic, and let you know that Obama isn't REALLY in control. God is. I am a Reformed Presbyterian, and I believe in Christ, and I also believe that everything will be alright if we go on trusting in Him.

On to more Bionicle, :P Speaking of Tahu, could somebody please tell me why I keep typing his name 'Thau'? :P
When winter gets here, I am gonna change my blog to a winter theme, including the title, so don't freak out if some weird blog comes up for mine, because IT IS mine, with the name changed.
I was wondering, though, what name do you think I should give it? Please, don't be shy,I really need some suggestions. Anything winter themed, that is. Also, from Nov. 14-17th. I think I'll have my blog a bit different, to celebrate, but that will only be for a short time.
-Autumn
P.S. I will post the pictures soon, if my mom gives me permission to use her camera. :)

Tagged!!!

So, I was tagged by Madison almost a week ago and I never knew it!!! *Whacks herself with a Kohlii stick*
Ok, RULES.

Type these on your blog
Type six things you have learned this year
Tag six different people
Go to their blog and tell them they have been tagged!

Well, six random things I've learned:

#1.That you should not get distracted while baking

#2. Everyone can lie. Everyone can lose their temper.

#3. Saying all the exceptionable but mean things about the knuckle-heads who work on the Bioncle story team won't make things change. Sulking won't help either. :P ( Did not like the last Bionicle Comic for this year.)

#4. God is always watching you.

#5. You can do some really stupid things when you act on your own judgment, but that's just because I'm extremely ditsy.

#6. God will take care of you, no matter what.

So, I tag..... Anyone that I can think of!!! I really don't know that many people on here. Oh, well, how about Nate, Shadow Strike, and Timeless Trinkets(my mom). I really don't know that many people who actually will pass this on, but considering that my brother(Shadow Strike http://shadowstrike-nerfblog.blogspot.com/ ) knows a few people, he might. But I doubt it. He hates writing, and his blog is strictly Nerf.

Lots of Stuff!!!!!

Well, to start out, the other night we had the most beautiful crescent moon. It looked gorgeous, silhouetted against the house next door. That house is empty, so nobody ever asks me why I take pictures of it and it's surroundings. To tell you the truth, it really is a beautiful house, and
since nobody lives there, it's very peaceful.

The camera was a bit shaky, but I managed to get a video. I think the most beautiful thing was the crickets and the cars going by. My room is closest to the street, and my room is where this was filmed.

The other thing was a beautiful sunset we had,
it cast an orange-red glow on everything.
The first is a picture of the sun glinting against a flower I have taped to my window.

This is after the sun went down.

These are the pictures of Vakama, Nokama, and Matau on my bookcase. They looked beautiful.

This is my hand, a comparison of
how red the light was.
And this is my bookcase, it has candles and rocks and a handmade oil lamp like the ones the Israelites had.

And the last is my darling, sweet, hardly-at-all-prickly cactus-in-a-teacup♥. I love it most because I don't have to water it. I love that I don't have to water it because I am very forgetful. I don't think I'm making much sense. :P

Thank you for stopping by, I will have artwork up on Monday, if everyone is at church Sunday. Why? Wait and see.
-Autumn
EDIT: I'm adding a video of the sunset, my voice is VERY deformed, but I just thought I'd upload it anyway.

Well, I guess it's here.........

As so many of you have anounced, Autumn is here. It is getting cold here in Virginia, and I am enjoying it immensly, although have to say, I'm not getting out much because I'm still a little under the weather as you'd call it from the cold I had a while back.

Well, I have now watched Lord of the Rings:Fellowship of the Rings for the first time and... I LOVED THE THING!!!!!!!!! It was a little scary, but not that bad, so my brother, Shadow Strike, and I watched it together on a VHS that looks ancient that my mom bought at GoodWill. Mind you, we had no intention of watching any of the three movies until our mom bought this, and I'm super glad she did.

*Note*
I'm sure you guys wonder why I post about myself less-often, and more about my artwork and such. Well, my artwork is me. My blog is where I display it to other people other than my family and friends, but I will try VERY hard to post about myself more. Also, I am home schooled, so I can't post that often, as our mom keeps us OFF the computer, ALL THE TIME!!

Gali, Toa of Water

I'm sorry for not posting in a while, we started school and things have been rather...dull. Today reminds me of last year when I played on the travel soccer team, all clear skies yet extremely warm.

Well, this morning at 11:00 I decided to start on a drawing, ink it and color it in 1 day. I finished at 3:00. Really, I didn't know I could still do that. I guess it doesn't count too much because I didn't do a complex background, but, oh, well, here she is!

Gali Nuva/Colored

I used many blues as this is the Toa Nuva of Water. She seemed purer if I took the picture in natural light, but it glared a little. My camera batteries went dead , so I never got a full view. She's wearing a blue swirly skirt, but you can only see a bit of it anyway, so I suppose it's not major.

Gali Nuva/Inked
This is what she looked like at about 1:00 this afternoon. In manga you usually ink your drawing with a pen (or
markers.)to make certain features stand out. Then you color it. I thought I should show you both.
And here is a glimpse of that skirt, a long with my signature.

Well, I hope you found this art, er, REFRESHING. :P Gali tends to do that to people. I hope to get Lewa and Tahu done soon, they will be very interesting.

Art

Hello everyone, here is that art I promised!!

Beach Comber-I drew this a while back and inked it on my trip. I have no idea who he's supposed to be, except that his name was originally Leviticus or Levi for short. I'll post a picture of him colored soon. I think he's my best drawing yet. The funny thing is I usually have a hard time with full bodies, especially men/boys. But this one came naturally. Easy as eating cheesecake, and thats pretty easy for me!!

Medieval-This is a medieval drawing I did focusing on the chain mail, and, with much encouragement, including people's who's names I know not,( I did this in a waiting room and many people saw the drawing.)did something really hard. It took me an estimated three hrs. to do just the mail!! Thank you everyone, I never thought I could do so many little circles!! :P The camera greatly distorted the real image, but trust me, this drawing is pretty awesome. My only complaint is his likeness to someone or something, but I won't mention who/what. Another is the mail, you can't see it in this image!!! Oh, well, I'm trying to hurry with this entry, so I'll put up a new picture later.

Thanks,
Autumn

Trip

Hello everybody!! Sorry if I haven't been posting, I've been at my grandparent's house a lot. (we call them Mumsie and Pa.) First, we went to their house August 7-9 because mom and dad had to deal with some business in another town. Lillian, my two-year-old sister had to sleep with me.(she hasn't been to Mumsie's house without mommy that much before now because she nursed and we couldn't get her to sleep without it. She's weaned now, though.) Oh, how much I rocked her!! Then she needed her Care Bear, and her special 'away from mommy' blanket,(that is actually on of mom's pajama shirts.) AND her Hello Kitty juice cup. Mind you, it HAD to be Kitty at bedtime, not her big brother's super heroes. WITH grape juice, nothing else. But I lived through the diapers and naps and juice catastrophes. Oh, and the tricycle wreak with skinned knee to boot. But the cute smiles and quality time was rewarding. Then we came home for the tenth. Only Avery(my 1st younger brother) and I went to Mumsie and Pa's on the 11th-15th. On this trip we left for Kentucky, our exact destination-Bardstown, where Stephen Foster, an American originally from Pittsburge lived for a short time. Stephen Foster wrote songs like- Oh Susanna, Capetown Races, and My Old Kentucky Home, the state song of Kentucky. My Pa likes to sing this one sometimes because he was born in Kentucky. We went to Louiville Kentucky, were Pa was born. We didn't get to ride a steam boat, but we did get to cross the bridge over the Ohio river and go into Indiana for the first time in our lives. My brother held his breath all the way across the bridge, save for one exhale when he couldn't hold it in any longer. He says he got a score of 2,500. Crazy, right? Oh, well. We enjoyed Louiville greatly, Pa and Avery went to a history museum and Mumsie and I poked our heads into the science museum gift shop. There were all these beautiful Nature CD's (Ocean sounds and such) that I like to listen to, and a player was playing samples. I guess Mumsie decided I was going to buy some because when I walked over she gave me ten dollars for watching the baby!! I told her I didn't deserve that, but she told me to keep it. But I decided not to spend it. So here I am with ten dollars I don't deserve. Oh, well. Then, that evening we headed over to Bardstown to see the Stephen Foster Musical. The musical was outside and started at 8:30 and went until about 10:00. It was nice, with ladies in beautiful Civil War dresses, but the best part was the end, when the full moon peeked up above the trees and shone down on everyone. Then I went back to the hotel, in the back seat of the car listening to Enya and watching the moon out the back window. Then we traveled back home. It was fun and I enjoyed this part of the last month of summer vacation.

P.S. I hope to post some artwork I did on the trip soon, but we are very busy here!

Drawings

Jaller Inika- Not quite sure what he's
doing,maybe you know? Talking, obviously.
I thought he could be telling the team what to do,
But I don't know.

As I've said, I love to draw. My favorite style is Manga, and my favorite things to draw are Exo-Force, Human Bionicle(a variation of Bionicle art in which the characters are human.) Battle for Wesnoth, and Sigma 6, to name a few.
These are some pictures I drew a while back.

Matoro Inika- He's watching the stars and wondering
what secrets and wonders beyond imagination
that they might hold, explaining the twinkling
highlights in his eyes.

This one is zooming in on my signature at the bottom of the picture of Jaller.
Thanks for looking!!

About my color poll..........

As most of you have seen, I have a favorite color poll on my blog here. Well, I have this website that discuses colors and such and I wanted to tell you some of the things I dug up. I got this off a site called Infoplease. The page was color psychology.

Black

Black is the color of authority and power. It is popular in fashion because it makes people appear thinner. It is also stylish and timeless. Black also implies submission. Priests wear black to signify submission to God. Some fashion experts say a woman wearing black implies submission to men. Black outfits can also be overpowering, or make the wearer seem aloof or evil.

White

Brides wear white to symbolize innocence and purity. White reflects light and is considered a summer color. White is popular in decorating and in fashion because it is light, neutral, and goes with everything. However, white shows dirt and is therefore more difficult to keep clean than other colors. Doctors and nurses wear white to imply sterility.

Red

The most emotionally intense color, red stimulates a faster heartbeat and breathing. It is also the color of love. Red clothing gets noticed and makes the wearer appear heavier. Since it is an extreme color, red clothing might not help people in negotiations or confrontations. Red cars are popular targets for thieves. In decorating, red is usually used as an accent. Decorators say that red furniture should be perfect since it will attract attention.

The most romantic color, pink, is more tranquilizing. Sports teams sometimes paint the locker rooms used by opposing teams bright pink so their opponents will lose energy.

Blue

The color of the sky and the ocean, blue is one of the most popular colors. It causes the opposite reaction as red. Peaceful, tranquil blue causes the body to produce calming chemicals, so it is often used in bedrooms. Blue can also be cold and depressing. Fashion consultants recommend wearing blue to job interviews because it symbolizes loyalty. People are more productive in blue rooms. Studies show weightlifters are able to handle heavier weights in blue gyms.

Green

Currently the most popular decorating color, green symbolizes nature. It is the easiest color on the eye and can improve vision. It is a calming, refreshing color. People waiting to appear on TV sit in "green rooms" to relax. Hospitals often use green because it relaxes patients. Brides in the Middle Ages wore green to symbolize fertility. Dark green is masculine, conservative, and implies wealth.

Yellow

Cheerful sunny yellow is an attention getter. While it is considered an optimistic color, people lose their tempers more often in yellow rooms, and babies will cry more. It is the most difficult color for the eye to take in, so it can be overpowering if overused. Yellow enhances concentration, hence its use for legal pads. It also speeds metabolism.

Purple

The color of royalty, purple connotes luxury, wealth, and sophistication. It is also feminine and romantic. However, because it is rare in nature, purple can appear artificial.

Brown

Solid, reliable brown is the color of earth and is abundant in nature. Light brown implies genuineness while dark brown is similar to wood or leather. Brown can also be sad and wistful. Men are more apt to say brown is one of their favorite colors.

Colors of the Flag

In the U.S. flag, white stands for purity and innocence. Red represents valor and hardiness, while blue signifies justice, perseverance, and vigilance. The stars represent the heavens and all the good that people strive for, while the stripes emulate the sun's rays.

Food for Thought

While blue is one of the most popular colors it is one of the least appetizing. Blue food is rare in nature. Food researchers say that when humans searched for food, they learned to avoid toxic or spoiled objects, which were often blue, black, or purple. When food dyed blue is served to study subjects, they lose appetite.

Green, brown, and red are the most popular food colors. Red is often used in restaurant decorating schemes because it is an appetite stimulant.

Isn't that last part upsetting? One things for sure, if you want to lose weight, don't paint your dinning room red!

As I am an artist, I enjoy learning about colors. Also, my mom's college degree was in experimental psychology. She enjoys art as well, and studied art things in school. Oh, and I enjoy this kind of stuff, too.

Enjoy and God Bless!

A string of event's lead to.....

A really strange thing has been happening to me lately. I've been waking up really tired, but I've been getting plenty of sleep. Then, the other day when I went to Rose's birthday party(http://waiting-rose.blogspot.com/) I started wheezing and coughing. At first we though something was terribly wrong, but,as I am allergic to cats, we then thought it was that. Of course, I had been taking allergy medicine to stop my allergic reaction, and it must have just run out. (Meaning I needed another dose.) Well, I woke up yesterday with a pain in my rib cage(s?).
It feels like someone has squeezed you around the torso too hard and bruised you. But it hurts when I breath. Now, back in June, around the last week of the month, I had a cold. I think I have walking pneumonia. My brother thinks I have asthma. My mom thinks I might have a bit of pleurisy, and my dad thinks need to go to the doctor, whatever I have(probably right.:)). In a little while I am going to the doctor for whatever this thing is.
