"...But to me the darkness was red-gold and crocus-coloured, With your brightness, And the words you whispered to me, Sprang up and flamed—orange torches against the rain. Torches against the wall of cool, silver rain!" ---Summer Rain, Amy Lowell

No Doubt [Reprise]
A rush of air as I step forward
Starving for realism
The sudden truth that this isn't hard
And that this is the last moment
We didn't need any words at all
A silent conversation
Bright lights, cool wind, yellow wall
And I see that this is the last moment
I grip tighter; pain pounds in my feet
A constant beat in my head
The imperfect row like a city street
And I come to terms with this last moment
The summer days are full of light
A hint of coffee and cologne
The memories swing with our flight
Like a whirlwind; this is the last moment
My heart throbs inside me
Now the world is full of color
Wrapping my hand around tightly
I seek to hold onto this last moment
The darkness, the fear, the contemplation
The support of one thing takes them
And away they go without need of explanation
Frozen in time, this last moment
I can't explain it; don't ask me to
It's a feeling, not a word
And a security; I can rely on You
Even in this crucial, last moment
The single song, the only way
Am I a hopeless thief
For trying my hardest to make it stay
That sweet, last moment
A picture of the past to the present
Completed, not framed, painting
Nothing needs added, nor asked for consent
And I find peace in the last moment
Things change, so do these places
Where you can cry 'I am safe!'
Not meeting any time-hunted, cruel gazes
Forever, No Doubt, last moment
So I stand, gazing at the banners in rows
And the lights, gently bright
Calling me forward, where my heart goes
The end of the last moment.

Today
I actually got some math done today, and then I went bike riding around town with a friend. It was SO much fun; beautiful sun, a slight breeze, and no wrecks whatsoever!
I then came home and cleaned the kitchen, and then back to my friend's house (go figure) for piano lessons. XD Lessons went well and then I had a delicious supper here at home.
So my day went VERY well, to spite all other things and such...
Chautauqua is coming soon. The day that the art contest stops taking entries in June 16....that's ten days. Last year I entered two drawings and one of which won the Award of Merit, but I don't know if I should even enter another, and I don't know what to draw! Lately I have totally lacked inspiration, too, lol. Maybe it'll come to me soon.
Right now I'm kind-of...between, when it comes to feelings. I'm so happy for this day and this week and how wonderful things are going. I'm also kind-of nervous, and I get butterflies in my stomach when I think about certain future-things. I'm sad, because sometimes things happen that you cannot undo (please be in prayer for someone I know who has gotten into some trouble that can't be undone). I'm super-excited about Conference, too. It's this mixed up, wishy-washy feeling between worry, sorrow, and total ecstasy. Part of me is afraid of the unknown, another part of me...I can't describe it. I want to jump into anything and never lose another chance.
And then I'm dreamy. I feel like running to the top of a hill and screaming at the top of my lungs and I just want to go on an on and on and never stop...but I don't know what I want to keep doing. I guess feeling happy and young and joyous.
God has given me a really amazing imagination. Sometimes, it's the reason I feel so wishy-washy like I do right now...but right now, it's because of the current events that have happened which are so sad.
Sometimes, I come up with mental images that horrify&scare me to death (imagine that, me scaring myself. Hey, it happens). Other times, they are pretty pictures, or little memories. Sometimes, these turn into story ideas.
I'm also pretty darn observant. I tend to notice the oddest things-the color of her eyes, the way he plays with the hair at the nape of his neck when he's nervous, how her teeth aren't straight but I've always thought her beautiful anyway, how he has a dark blemish on his shoulder, how he tends to smile to one side...and not just those kinds of observances, but those of people's personalities; how different they are from others and how alike they are. What makes my best friends laugh, and how they react to something they're scared of...just so many different little things.
Most people I think are a tad creeped out when they hear me say this stuff. Well, let me put one thing straight; I'm not like this all the time. I'm not constantly categorizing and remembering everything...I do relax on occasion! So don't be creeped out. I probably will never use anything against you, since if I notice you, I probably LIKE you. In a friendly way.
Explaining-of-self-rants. Yeah. XD
Anyway, I haven't done any writing recently really. Some editing in my fanfiction so I can update it soon, some more fanfiction short stories, and then a little planning in Lineage...but nothing extreme. I really just want to go hide when it comes to Lineage, lol. Alastair HATES me for all I've done to him and has totally run out of steam...plus, I think I revealed his past too quickly, hahahah.

Poem of Autumn and Winter
I'm hopeless!
Ah, I'm listening to Stolen by Dashboard Confessional right now...such a beautiful song, and conveying my feelings about Spring so acurately. Now, I wish I could find a Winter song that is as beautiful as this one!
I remember when I sat up in the hallway and listened to Stolen over and over again...it was just magical, as magical as when after Conference 2009 I listened to Clean Up Your Eyes by the Dykeenies over and over...just remembering what I had done and how much pure fun I had had.
I love summertime and springtime, but I want to be able to remember and love Autumn, too. I think the song that has conveyed September this year is Cry by Mandy Moore. October? I'm not sure; I guess something about the beach! Then, of course, November...I don't have a song for Autumn yet, I suppose! I'll keep looking! Maybe something beautiful will show up!
I wrote a poem about Autumn, here it is-

Of memories...
As I remember that moment, how rushed, excited, confident and happy I felt...a single sparkle of the same exhilarated feeling twinkles inside me. Knowing that I was guided...It's one of the first times I've let someone else take charge. Thank you, Lord, for such a nice memory. ^.^
If I could eat red raspberries all the time, any time I liked, I would, just to relive this summer. For red raspberries kicked it off, and I wouldn't think of ending it without them.
Now I think to myself...how in the world can summer be over? How could I let these moments slip past me, without another thought about them? How could I long for fall and another year so much and forget this sweetness? This icecream and sunsets, moonlight and evening walks....
I'll never forget it!!!! But I am also thankful for the rest of my life which God has given me. I'm making it my goal to live that to the fullest, and glorify Him in all that I do. So mourning over the past for too long is a bad thing.

Reflecting the Sun
So alike, yet so different.
XD So, I'm back. Hello. Nice being back, actually.
I took a gazillion pictures. Prepare yourselves.
I'm also considering doing NaNoWriMo this year with a story that I came up with on the trip...it's...interesting. XD

Rainy Evenings In France
Laughter broke the silence; which wasn't really silence due to the mewing of a cat, squealing of a few pigs across the street and the ballad of a minstrel in the bar below her room. But the laughing caught Ailith's attention, and she turned to see a girl with chocolate brown, curly hair walking arm-in-arm with a boy who appeared to be cracking jokes with her. He pointed toward the garden and her face suddenly grew serious as he walked over and picked one of the small purple violets growing in the stone wall. He presented the violet to her, shaking a stray strand of blond hair out of his face as he did so. It was a simple motion, but obviously pleased the girl even more than the violet, because she laughed as she wiped her hands on her dark red dress and took the flower. Fitting it in her hair, she took his arm once more. They continued down the street, and Ailith heard her exclaiming-"Caelan! That's not funny!" but laughing all the same.
It began to drizzle a few minutes later, and Ailith found herself hoping it wouldn't ruin the evening stroll of the two laughing teens. She even found herself wishing that she could be doing the same somewhere; laughing and strolling along with her friends. The image of those she had lost crept into her mind, but the lightning flashed and thunder clapped loudly at that moment, the downpour that followed clearing her mind to the nothingness that it was beforehand. Ailith turned away and headed back downstairs; Kyle would be wondering where she was.
Ramble there. ^.^; Gotta love my writing, though. An idea I came up with a while back. Just filled it out a bit and Voila!
Anyways, it has been raining a lot in my area. It feels like fall! ^.^ I wrote that about summer, though, but it's still rain! XD I've got my grandparent's keyboard and am enjoying practicing on it. It's fun...but I like the touch of a piano better. >.<
I've been sort-of brainstorming on an idea for a picture, but it currently hasn't come to anything except more questions about details. I also feel like writing in the RP, because this was the kind of weather last year that I thought the most about the RP, and around the same time, too. I'm really ready for fall. :)
Well, nothing much else to say!

Under Orion May Your Memory Ring True
Stars and moon are thought-stilling
A single star shines very bright
Upon whom her thoughts do alight
But she longs only for a friend
Sweet perfume on a darkened wind
Because light only glimmer with hope
When with their descisions you can cope
Leaning in, she needs you now
Before this throne she cannot bow
Only half the cry you hear
And she wished things could be made clear
*
Lonesome longing
For one seemingly lost
Silently begging
That he won't pay any cost
Pointless worry
Time will stand in place
Never say sorry
A blank look on my face
Her heart still flies
But she ties it down
For fear of those lies
That make you frown
Black on white the song
Of thoughtful love yet remorse
Though you can sing along
I'm still trying to see, of course
Oh, leave me, sweet regret!
Go, jealous envy
I will not be caught in that net
And nothing gained, you see
A sparkling treasure
Sitting under the sand
Brighter than the gold
Of all the land
Burning horizon
Dreams, please come true?
The constellation of Orion
Is coming into veiw
Run, run, fast as you can
A destination is on your mind
Do not stop, not for any man
And never look behind
Let her smile guide you
Just for this short moment, tonight
Understand her heart is true
Her sympathy is for your plight
*
She sees the sky, so great a height
Embellished with clouds by the day
And stars of diamond by the night
She sees a jagged fissure
Where the earth has cracked
Broken by the pressure
Look! Fool, there is broken glass
Consider who's at fault
And find some warmth at last
I'll try hard to hold on
It's a few weeks soon coming
And this is almost gone
When moonshadows are dimly cast
And Orion above us
We'll shoot back into the good of the past.
The style of ^this^ poem changes...hum, three times throughout. A muse, I suppose, since it is so very long.
For We Have Become Minstrels (or A Penny, A Quarter)
Do you know what laughing is
Yes, I know and it is this
A great and full; bursting moment
To be in the presence of not one lament
Even his faults are all kissed by the sun
And our spirits toward the sky horizon run
Where is the vast sky, can it be named well?
So this depth is like the blue; trust you cannot sell
The brightness of this day is more than I
And through the clarity of the horizon pearls I spy
Floating on invisible waves, reflecting the sun’s light
You can stare at them for years, till you increase in height
Time and stature, yet we’re still with hope
And with the changes of life we’ll cope
A family of travelers upon the road
Playing our instruments and searching for abode
A penny, a quarter, a flower for miss
And a long, happy strain that they call bliss
Then the deepness of your river is enhanced by two
And the world doesn’t always spin around you
But we never had to tell him, he always knew
That darkness is waiting for me and for you
Hark, oh night of blackness and silence!
We will not be hindered by your evil-hearted vengeance
Our family ties are strong, they bind us together
Nothing can take us, never oh never
Till the light shining on the rocky side
Is reflected by the incoming tide
While you stare up at the pearls as the ships leave the land
And I sit close by and draw pictures on the sand
The birds take flight and he writes a song
And the little girl and boy rather play than sing along
The women and men walk down the shore
And the eldest of us are still looking for more
But we’re the most content than we ever could be
In our cove of goodwill, out by the sea
Wondering if the bonds will ever go away
And hoping to stay for another day
As I said on Facebook-
A cookie to the first person that can tell me what the pearls are in this verse-
The brightness of this day is more than I
And through the clarity of the horizon pearls I spy
And I guess another cookie to who can tell me what this one means-
Then the deepness of your river is enhanced by two
And the world doesn’t always spin around you
ENJOY!!! Sorry I don't post very often-life is hectic and frustrating-not VERY bad stuff, but still hard. And if you understand all of the stuff in these poems, or most of it, then you are either crazy, know a lot about me and my stargazing tendencies, or are a big part of the subject. :) I doubt many understand fully, so don't dare feel bad if you don't...you aren't supposed to! ^.^I have finished Baccano!, btw, and it's very good! I love the English dub of it-Accents are so cool. Still working on Cowboy Bebop.
Also, expect a total blog makeover soon...Fall is almost here!!!

Poem for the Sky and Sun
It's knowing you
And suddenly you change
From clear sky blue
To a black that is strange
I don't know you anymore
You, who is deceptive and cunning
For you and I fight a war
Such is the reason that I'm running
Nothing that you can say
And nothing that you can do
Will ever make me stay
You aren't a child who is true
You were the sunlight
But now you simply fade to gray
It's a worn out fight
And the end is far away
Perhaps you don't know this
And can't see the wounds so sharp
So now I do insist
Don't bother with my broken heart

Barbeque?
lol, I didn't have to socialize much. Corey did it for me. :P
Corey and Jenner are two guys that I have spent quite a bit of time with at my grandparent's social events. XD I don't like parties, but when you have some funny people to talk with, they are more fun.
Then, tonight, there were Jacob, Logan, Caleb and Audrey, as well. I made many aquaintances! I liked meeting these new people...especially Jacob! He was a lot of fun, and only a month younger than me...lol.
Well, hope you are all doing well~
I have been kicking off summer with a BANG!!! Loving it, too! Hontoni shiawase da~!

Poem of the Days Before Summer

Sweet Summer
Will it come soon? I'm counting down the days till June 21st...counting down the days until Summer is officially here. But you know what? I pretty much call Spring an 'Early Summer'.Wednesday, June 24, 2009
I'm soooo busy...
Gosh, I'm running around at 500 mph!!!! Having fun, but running! First thing this week was the orthodontist on Monday. Then today I went to my dad's office. And then to Goodwill. And now I have to load the dishwasher and then to get my hair cut....
YES, I AM GETTING IT CUT AGAIN.
Also, I'm leaving for the Bluefield Reformed Family Bible Conference Wednesday evening. Yes, same as Rose. But I'm going a day later. By the way, this is my 1ST TIME!!! *happydance*
So I have a lot to get ready for!
Is there anything I want to say... not really. No specific reason for this post so...I'll probably finish in a minute.
I think I might spend some time filling my sidebar with pictures of Edward. That should be fun...lol, endure it. I just found a ton of pictures of Edward.
And they're ADORABLE!!!!!!*attempts to hug Edward but he bolts away as fast as possible* I'll settle for Alphonse. He doesn't scream half as much. :P And he likes cats...
Pretend they're saying goodbye instead of welcome...lol :P
I'll do a post Saturday with pictures, because I'll lose my mind if I forget my camera!

I'm crazy...that I am...
I'm bored...sleepy...and nuts. :P I do weird things at night. Like make a post with a picture of Duo on it...but he's COOL!!!My favorite star watching times are when you see meteorites. They are just breathtaking. Not to mention all the constellations you see whilst searching for meteors.
So I'm rambling about nighttime...at night(LATE at night)...so why not some of my nighttime pictures?
The moon, quite a few months ago...maybe six?
The moon again, really blurry, but very beautiful. The sunset back in...August of last year? Later? Later? I do not know. But it is still very pretty.

I like this next one. It reminds me of so many memories. That light there is one I will never ever forget looking at. It brings back memories of my friend Megan when I was little and played as her tag-along who followed her everywhere and probably drove her crazy on occasion. Thankfully our friendship is much more than that now.

And a planet. I don't know which, but I see it almost every night. This was taken on the same night of the blurry moon.
A close up of a blurry sunset through trees. I loved it. And then the original of that picture.
Well, I hope you liked. I am now going to bed before my mom comes down here and gets me good. I'm super-tired, anyway, this is the first time I've been up this late in a while...I cannot believe it's almost 12. And I have to get up early! Sweet dreams everyone, and pardon my craziness!

Summertime

I enjoy summertime a lot. My perspective on it is probably over-exaggerated. I took a test to see how hot my summer would be...of course the test can't predict the future. I think it really was just predicting what the person's opinion of summer was. My summer was going to be great.
I've changed my blog colors for summer, and I changed my playlist appearance too. I just need to change the songs to my favorite songs that remind me of summer. Alright, so the playlist is at the bottom, and you get tired of scrolling all the way down, yadda, yadda yadda, right? Well, just click on my newest post and it will open so you can see the comments and post on the same page. Then you don't have to scroll so far!!! :)
And I have made up a tag! I know those things have died down a bit, but I never made one myself, so I thought I would.
Your perspective on each month of summer is this-
June-It's green and warmer outside.
You can go outside at 8:30 and play because it's not dark yet.
You start to see fireflies at night.
The woods are nice in the daytime, hiking and climbing trees.
You start to get out more often.
And we even have VBS at one church up the road...we won't be going this year, though.
You get your first dab of sunscreen...and then sunburn.
July-Fireworks!!!
Red, White and Blue!!!
Evenings outside, watching the sun set on my grandparents farm.
Listening to Mother the War in my room at sunset.(Or any other 10,000 Maniacs song!)
Going to my Grandparent's farm and riding in the back of the truck...Which my mom has outlawed. :P Or riding on our bikes.
Picking blackberries and raspberries and blueberries.
August-THE BEACH!!!
Walking on the sand.
Playing in the surf.
Collecting sea shells.
(Actually, I did all of this back in January when I was in Florida...I won't be able to do it this year. VA Beach doesn't have many sea shells anyway.)
And that little part of September we forget is summer-I like to think about snow. I wish it would get cold. I like to play outside, but mostly I'm tired of summer by now. I want fall to get here.
Favorite thing about summer- Playing with my friends, of course!!! I love all of your company so much. And this summer I'm working on loving the company of my brothers and sister.
Most memorable day this summer-Hmmm...I think it was actually back in May...We were up at the soccer field and then at the school playground. I was up there with a few girl friends, my brothers and Cyll. And then we went to the soccer field another day. My dad got to go that time and it was SUPER fun. That time Megan came. If there is any other memorable day actually in June it was Sunday. That was fun.
My favorite food in summertime is-Hmmmmm...BIG HMMMM...I can't answer my own question. My favorite drink is lemonade. My favorite dessert is probably homemade peach ice-cream. My favorite thing to eat? Well, I like*rambles on and on about any food that isn't warm...*
And a few things you want to do this summer-To get my room clean, to write and read more often. Hopefully improve my drawing skills and finish my math for this year. Then start on Algebra 1/2.
Oh, I just want to have as much fun as possible with my friends, and hopefully get to know a few new ones.
So that's it!!! I tag Timeless Trinkets, Miss Rose, Megan, Fantasy, Cylleruion, Nate and Sir Furious.
I'm interested in hearing all of your answers. But if you don't have time for it you don't have to. And you don't have to tag other people either. It's more like a get to know your friends better test. :)
Megan: I know your busy, so if you want we can just talk about summer Sunday. If you really want to type it all out you can in the comments since you don't have a blog. If that's alright.
Now for changing my blog name...Oh dear...
EDIT: I just realized I forgot to put the rules here.
You copy and paste my answers from my blog to your new post. Then you change my answers to yours and post it. And then you attempt to tag three other people. I'm interested in hearing all of your answers. But if you don't have time for it you don't have to. And you don't have to tag other people either. It's more like a get to know your friends better test. :)
